Pros:
First of its kind that I have seen
Cheap
Interesting level design
Nearly Excellent ship designs with only minor flaws
Grand Scale
Easy to Roleplay
Fun multiplayer
Worth the 15$ or so I got it for on sale 100%
(EDIT)Continuous updates! Gets a content update usually every few months

Cons:
Clunky controls
Little movement smoothing
Atrocious gunplay
All AI have targeting computers in their brains and never miss
Hard to get attached to a playthrough
Low online player count
Boring sound design

Out of personal preference:
Textures are bland and uninteresting in most areas, but they play in to the cartoony feel
Meme ship
No drone ship or fighters
Boring cosmetics with unusual unlocks

Areas overhauled well:
Player models no longer look like disgusting blobs of flesh
AI crewman have VERY customizable actions, and can be easily ordered around
While I disagree, as there is no PVP but essentially online coop, Cheat Engine ease has been removed and attempting to add credits crashes the game

Final statement:
7/10(previously a 6/10, but with the character model overhaul and added customization options one of my main gripes has been relieved) A great and excellent game to have a ton of fun in. If you enjoy the runabout style of old sci-fi tv shows, PULSAR is a wonderful place to put yourself in the place of the character. While there is a decently extensive story, it is hard to get in to and you will need to really dig, as a single button press can wipe a menu that will never show up again. Excellent ship-to-ship combat with a ton of internal player discussion allows for engaging and fulfilling gameplay. The ships feel real, and comparing ships allows for tons of research into which one you decide to take out for a spin. Internals are easy to customize, but never any cosmetic changes as I personally would deeply enjoy. All in all, a fun game that is easy to immerse yourself in with enough suspension of disbelief, but hard to find like-minded players and little or boring cosmetic options.

What I would like to see(* a long shot, but nonetheless would be a great addition):
Drone or fighter carrier
Better gunplay and AI that have the capacity to miss a shot once and a while
More handheld weapon options like projectile weapons or melee
*Wearable equipment like personal shields
*One or two solo ships, like a starfighter, that are fast and have limited autonomy (minor autopilot so you can jump up and repair things)
A little more in-game explanation for certain things (like hacking and ai customization), or if I have somehow missed it, a little more direction towards those menus
More ships with interesting mechanics(easy to say, hard to do, I know. A little variety is appreciated however, as most of the current ships run off the same basic pillars of design. Possibly even an alien ship)
A freelance option for ships instead of each ship being bound to a specific faction
A "creative" type mode where players can experiment with ships and weapons together or alone in the open universe
(EDIT) Ships that the player can't start with, but can buy or steal later (like the grim cutlass)

Every change this game has made since 2015 has really cut into me one way or another. Robocraft was once a pinnacle of what free-to-play games should be. Viable and exciting progression, entertaining and easy mechanics, and a wealth of fun for all players. The tiering system was expansive, the items easy to unlock, and every aspect was simple. Every aspect was comprehensive. Nearly all of my (at the time of writing) ~310 hours of playing were sank during those so called "glory days." My friends and I earned every aspect of our play, and was proud of my stance. I EARNED tier 10. I EARNED Mega. I EARNED every single item in my inventory through dedicated play. Suddenly, it was the rebalancing. Items began rampantly having stats changed, tried and true strats became useless, and cheese strats ran amok. This crucial point in time denoted the point where the devs lost contact with the game. After this, it was a near tectonic shift in the direction of the game. The devs turned a once-loved game into a cash cow, and began squeezing the life out of players little by little with destructive patches and planar-shifts in game direction every few MONTHS. It eventually lead to the way obtaining items had been since forever being changed to some lunacy of a system that I, honestly, spent no time learning because I had already gotten most of the parts I wanted. The real kicker was what happened to the currency system here. They ported your basic currency, and then gave you a sickening fraction of your premium currency transformed into the basic currency, forcing them together. For the thousand-some premium I had, I got a mere 10k. And, yes, 10k seems like a lot, until you find out that a SINGLE "T10" (tiers had been removed not long earlier) cost anywhere in the ballpark of 100-300k if my memory serves me right. Previously, one of those would cost oh, say, 600 premium currency? It's been a few years since! You were also rewarded NOTHING for Tech Points, the progression system, and any support ticket for this injustice was responded with a "eat crap and die" kind of reaction.

Robocraft had its cornerstones butchered, and even today remains a sad husk of what it used to be. I look back frequently to what this game used to be, and feel severely bereft of the love and experience I had, running home after highschool to boot up one of my favorite games with my friends, only to be thrown in the trash with all of the other traditionalists.

Compared to when I started in 2014, this game is a sad excuse, and it pains me. I feel no connection to the current state of the game, I feel no love, but what I do feel is a deep wound of offense, especially seeing how its taken almost four years for them to even barely restore a piece of the best part of this game. Not only do I hate what it is now, I hate having seen such a great game collapse on its knees to perpetuate greed.

Helldivers is an excellent arcade strategic shoot-em-up, which sounds like a mouthful, easy to pick up and set down at any time of the year. It offers both surface-level fun, easy to complete a few missions in under half an hour, and high skill scenarios that can up to an hour and a half to complete, depending how methodical you are. Additionally, the game is loved by its developers, and has seen numerous DLC's and updates since its release, often going on sale throughout the year. In addition, every "Liberty Day" is celebrated in one way or another.

Pros:
Easy to jump into at a moments notice
Having trouble? Call in backup by asking other players to dive into your game, and offer their own equipment for the cause after you've already started.
In-depth progression, with an absolutely massive set of weapons and tech that you can take.
Several vehicles and turrets, that fel extremely rewarding to master.
Practically every stratagem can be upgraded in some sense, and the process to both obtain and use the upgrade currency is extremely easy.
Little penalty for failing part of the mission, allowing you to still escape at the end with the loot and rewards, to a lessened degree.

Cons:
The difficulty scales very rapidly, going from a mission that is easy to solo while eating some random junk food lying around, to having your eyes glued on the screen a mere two difficulty levels higher.
Enemy detection range makes it incredibly difficult to do any kind of stealth operations, typically forcing you to always have to build your character heavy.
Slow turning rates make it so aiming can be a bit of a slog while trying to pinpoint an enemy from accross the screen, but this also makes it very rewarding when getting these long-distance shots. It's bothersome for me personally, but I cannot say it will affect everyone like it does me.
No way to link directly to someone's steam profile, so finding a friend in game becomes a tedious process of trading usernames and describing your profile picture.

Helldivers has always been one of my favorite games to, well, just dive into at a moments notice. Easy to jump into, easy to drag my friends into, and because its on sale so much, easy to find tons of new people to play it with via the S.O.S. beacon. I 100% recommend this to skilled, and unskilled players alike. I, myself, am excited to try the new difficulty settings and weapon!

Terraria is unlike nearly every other popular title out there, being a 2D platforming RPG sandbox. Terraria takes all of its gameplay aspects, and implements them perfectly. With extremely intuitive building, crafting, combat, and progression, it's a seemless integration of its collective parts.

Pros:
When it comes to pros, I could go on for hours. Creating tons of world, and dragging your characters between them, its an unlimited playing field. The average player will go through the motions of a chest world, a mining world, and a main world, with bouncing between them being a quick, seamless process. It is, however, more accustom to make a coherent list, so here goes:
-Cloud storage for characters and worlds
-Endless character customization with the option for vanity armor slots, dyeing all equipable items, and an innumerable amount of armors and accessories to adorn your character with.
-Distinct classes with items easily tooled towards them, in addition to several equipables that can go with just about any class.
-Endless replayability in vanilla and modded playthroughs. (use TMOD to access an easy-to-use in-game workshop)
-Literally thousands of items, each with unique uses and abilities, NOT including modded items. (some mods add several thousand items in their own right)
-Seamless multiplayer access with thousands of servers, or co-op options with multiplayer directly through steam. No need for setting up custom servers or port-forwarding!
-Multi-platform experience. For a mere 5$, I can also take Terraria with me anywhere on my phone, and connect to any of my ffriends mobile devices regardless of platform, so long as we have wifi. My ex and I would end up cuddling on the couch for hours on end with our phones in hand, crusading against bosses and armies alike.
-Playable for everyone. I still remember sitting down with my brothers and playing this game on the Xbox 360 for hours. Neither of them could do the advanced play, but they loved what they could do. Whether its children or adults, Terraria still has room for everyone. I will definitely be buying a few more copies for my kids when they start to get into gaming.
-Active developers. Even to this day, just over seven years after release, Terraria is still in development. Us dutiful fans await the teased 1.4 update with gracious arms, as well as lamenting on the past several updates. Each major update adds an entirely new level of play to the game, whether it was the overhaul of the Jungle, to the addition of a Terraria final boss, and even adding entirely new player classes, Terraria has yet to cease updating, and won't for a significant amount of time.

Cons:
It's hard to pick cons out of this game, but there are definitely a few sore limbs that grind the experience.
-Movement is jarring. Compared to the plethora of popular titles, 2D platformers are out of the ordinary. Moving from Overwatch, Titanfall, and Undertale-like games, the lack of a Z axis can get frustrating and confusing for new players.
-Wiki dependency. Terraria definitely has a lot of hidden features that lay either buried in code, or lack the golden arrow pointing to them. This leads to frequent tab-outs, and google escapades to find how to do seemingly simple things scattered haphazardly through a playthrough. While rare, it is definitely a definable inconvenience.
-Obligatory bugs. As with all games, nothing is perfect. While Terraria is one of my definitions of a perfect game, that doens't mean it's without its fair share of bugs. Whether its accidentally clipping through the roof, to bosses spawning without limbs, Terraria has a few working points for future updates.
-Not everyone's style. I'll admit, there are a lot of 2D haters. With everything being ultra-realism and GTX 1080Ti's, Terraria's basic, pixelated two-dimensional graphics can be pretty unimpressive. While practically every item got a visual overhaul in a recent update, that doesn't mean that staring at a flat enviroment doesn't get a bit boring after a four-hour playthrough. In addition, 2D sandbox RPG is pretty niche as is genre-wise, but it's a wide niche.

To wrap up, try it. It's ten bucks, and easy to pour hours into. I own it for three platforms, and have had a unique, interesting experience for all of them. Easy to pick up, easy to set down, and endlessly enjoyable, I don't see myself ever forgetting this game. It has been with me since the day it was released, and just about every year or less I find myself religiously coming back to scratch that oh-so-niche itch. Terraria is a labor of love, and as such, the community loves it right back.

I specifically got the game to see all of the cool units and such for my RP group, and on that respect, it's a home run. However the gameplay is very difficult to get the hang of, and I ended up not even playing it that much, and eventually deleting it. Good Graphics, Difficult Gameplay, no multiplayer, and absolutely zero-to-none on the lore. (I made up my own for my RP)

The Magic Circle is the epitome of puzzle/action/satire games, exclusively in that combination, for it's fun-loving charm, constant humor, and yet still rewarding gameplay that isn't just an interactive book. Not only is it fun to play, but the challenges are real in this game, and if you get used to it enough, all of the satisfaction that comes with getting to that tricky spot, or finding that easter egg, is enough to keep me replaying the storyline JUST to try different creature combinations and try different outcomes.

Favorite Creature? Flying Cyber-Rat with a Railgun, Fireproof, and Groupthink. My army of Robo-Rodents will seize any challenge in its way!!

Ah, Eden Star, the space-age creation game that took a little too much from Rust, and not enough from Minecraft. The goal is simple, protect your world-saving egg thing until you die, which is inevitable, but you can have fun getting there. There are two major things to worry about in ES, first, the spiney crawler drone things that seem to burst from nowhere at every point in the game and try to do horrible, unholy things to you. The second main thing to worry about is falling, and while there seems to be no apparent fall damage, you do however take a minor, itty-bitty, bite sized fatality from falling off the edge. Oh, did I forget to mention the edge? Yes, yes of course I did, as I so dutifully lacked at mentioning, the setting is also placed in an Avatar like sky dimension. And no, unlike avatar, there is no way to get down to the joyful, barbaric blue-monkey people waiting for you down below. In fact, on the note of down below, there also seems to be NO down below, and absolutely no way to get to this nowhere. So, enjoy 20$ of sky-running and trying not to get molested by small insect-like buggers that are keen on literally coming out of every known terrestrial orifice known to man. All in all, a great game. Impossible, but fun to play. Unless you're me. Then, in your attempt to pull off a sweet parkour jump trick, you literally die before the tutorial even kicks in.

This was meant to be funny....
