Greg, thanks for seven years of Rumbling with the rest of us. Thank you for being a worthy rival who beat the crap out of me and others more than once during the earliest tournaments. Thanks for dedicating yourself to making awesome experiences for people, both in the grand scale of your job and the millions it touched, and the small scale fun adventures you put together for your friends night after night. You helped people enjoy games more, build shared experiences, and every game maker owes you a tip of the hat for that. You were a friend to so many of my friends and for that I thank you personally. You did good with the time you had, and you deserved more of it. Rest easy.

Hey Greg, I miss you buddy. Thanks for all the fun playing TF2 and Rust and thanks for the great late night chats while we worked on our metal mega-base with Phil. You've got the most bad-ass radio voice in the land, and a real gift for bringing people together. I wish I'd had a chance to meet you in real life, but I'll remember your easy demeanor and how you befriended everybody on TF2 and Rust servers seamingly instantly with your great shooting and friendly sportsmanlike attitude. I'll also remember your strong passion for and deep knowledge of making games. I'm thinking of you and your family. I'm sorry you had to go so soon.

Those Rust all-nighters were some of the most fun that I'd had playing any videogame in years. RIP man
