Early Access Review
Fun zombie game taking place during a zombie outbreak, that is actually unique and different. It's pretty difficult to get used to playing when your run can end just by a single bite.

The game becomes alot more fun and less tedious whenever you play multiplayer and I consider this to be the strongest selling point despite it being intended for survival single player only.

If this game wasn't in early access I would most defiantly nominate this better with friends award.
Although I can understand the Early Access tag may not be the most attractive thing to see on the store page. I'd still say it worth the buy if your looking for some survival simulation or just on zombie game binge your list.

A fun mixup with mirrors edge and zombies creating a different type of zombie survival horror.

IMPORTANT FOR ANYONE THAT TAKES STORIES IN VIDEOGAMES SERIOUSLY
If you are expecting the story to be amazing from the overwhelmingly postive reviews you might be a bit unsatisfied with it. Since the story is your typically cheesy-generic zombie story.
However try to think of the story as a backseat passenger giving players a reason to progress and complete the game. So if you do plan on getting this game don't expect this one to have a deep lore-rich and compelling story since it feels like the devs put more effort into the gameplay aspect rather then the writing department. And speaking of gameplay...

The parkour and free-roaming sections feels great and level progressing actually changes the way you play. The combat is tricky and albeit janky to get the hang of, but with some practice and spacial awareness you can get used to luring zombies into traps, judo throwing zombies off of ledges, beheading zombies, curbstomp a zombie into the concrete or just freaking dropkick'em off buildings "Total Zombie Death style" But when night time comes the game really becomes a full on survival horror.
Think of it as minecraft's or Terraria's nighttime turned up to 11, except the zombies can run twice as fast, extra pissed off, and high off of bath salts. But dont worry the game doubles your exp and encourages you to test your parkour skills into avoiding or purposely letting yourself to be chased for added bonuses.

Now the co-op sections is a whole different story. Since this game was released in 2015 you'd have people randomly popping in to play together and commit gang initiation's on some poor helpless undead. But now it's kind of hard to get a co-op session going, especially when you hit quick join and some player just leaving (either through connectivity problems or something else.) Then you end up joining the same person again.
However whenever you do get about 2 or 4 people in it the game has a different feel to it, as if the story and characters dont really matter when you and two other guys are all laughing your lungs out after hearing some guy on the mic screaming while being chased by volatiles. Sadly the Harran Prison DLC seems to be where you'll ended getting a 4 player co-op lobby since everyone seems to be more interested in that DLC's reward than anything else.

The PvP invasion is surprisingly good despite being more favorable towards the humans. It's more about putting what you know about parkouring in Dying Light and how well your reflex skills and spacial awareness are put to the test. And is possibly the main reason why people are usually doing lately which is probably why I get alot of invasions rather than some randoms joining for a fun co-op sessions but it makes up for it by rewarding you with some pretty good loot regardless if you win or lose. Then again the DLC's can break PvP since the devs haven't been updating this game mode.

BTW the only DLC (imagine buying DLC's huehue) you should be getting is The Following. Since it's more Dying Light but with a solid vehicle mechanic unlike Dying Light 2's para glider. The difference between that and Dying Light's buggy mechanic is you're not even safe driving in it since volatiles can sprint incredibly fast to catch up to you. Plus it's nice to go to a nice open and rural area while running over crowds of zombies in a fields.

Long currently in development and abandoned game with a neat concept like a typical R18 patreon game , just like how a kid without a father who just went out to go get some milk for twenty-years.

No I'm serious this game is deader than your hopes and dreams of ever getting a girlfriend.
At best your better off spending your time touching grass, learning to code, write a story, learn to draw, and 3d modeling/level to make your own monster girl game. Instead of falling on the waiting game.
Dev has completely gave up on it. No progress besides a shark girl added to another R18 patreon game That is actually finished lol of freaking mario kart. Had enough money to probably hire some people with the coding and progress it but whatever.

So tl;dr: It's dead jim. Go outside and grind some coding/art skills son cause this game is never gonna get finished.
R.I.P to the patreon dudes that spent money waiting on this game lmao. Hope you got what your moneys worth.

The only game where a hero who manages to crit kill a mini-boss in a single strike had saved me from just jumping out of my window.

I wont lie this game has gotten me interested in learning about the religious shrine practices and mythology in parts of this game. Writing is improved alot since then along with the amount of plot twist and foreshadowing better than the Avengers series.Surprisingly it has moments where you get to learn about the stuggles with the protag and his harem of boyholes.
I need a shower and some re-evaluation on this.

Updated: I just dont know to say. I will say this it has been quite the ride. not literal still worth for the nuts.

Fun little Shmup with a BANGER soundtrack. It's gonna be alot of trial and error as well as memorization if you're new to the shoot'em up genre.

If you wait for a sale to happen or willing to spend get the soundtrack. Or just look up the music out online.

Really fun overlooked fps game that influence games such as Bioshock, PREY, and many others.
As much as I love this game you are going to have to alot of patience to get used to it. The game suffers from a little thing I call "Maze Syndrome". After awhile it's pretty easy to get the hang of it.
