♥♥♥♥ GAME!!! LOST 4 HOURS OF GAMEPLAY DUE TO SAVES CORRUPTING IMMIDIATLY AFTER SAVING, ALL SAVES THAT WERE FROM ANY RECENT TIME WERE CORRUPTED SO WENT BACK 4 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HOURS AND THE INTERNET HAD ASOLUTLY NO FIX. SO AF OF NOW I REFUSE TO PLAY IT AGAIN. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SPENT 30 HOURS TO THEN BE FORCED TO REDO 4 HOURS OF IT BECAUSE TE GAME CORRUPTS ALL SAVES UPPON SAVING IS RETARDED BEYOND ANYTHING. I CAN TOLLERATE MUCH BUT NOT THAT TYPE OF ♥♥♥♥ YOUR PROGRESS BECAUSE OUR ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ USELESS UBI CONNECT CRASHED WITHOUT ANY REASON TO.
PS: i own the game on both steam (Paid for it) and ubi connect (new pc had a code so i used it)

the game is essentially the same as buying the 2 original games but with loads of quality of life improvements (some more useful than others). is it worth the price? no but if we ignore the price its a decent upgrade so wait till its price goes down to the usual 5-10 euro's and get it then, its deffinetly better looking than the original.

game barely runs at 30 fps, not worth playing if you ask me, if a 500 euro console can outperform a 4000 euro gaming windows device that is 1 year younger than the ps5 its just a shi game performance wise. the game can be cool and all but if it runs like shi when it even looks like shi (aka low as f settings) its a shi game. so just like jedi survivor i can not reccoment a game that looks fun just cant run. at least make it able to run at 60 fps

Game is good but the launcher now forces me to type in my pasword EVERY SINGLE TIME I PLAY... this isn't fun and deffinetly not on the steamdeck i play it on, constantly tapping a screen and splodging it with obviously fingerprints that you need to whipe of most of the time isn't fun, fix or better yet remove your launcher, it will bring so many more people in and all those people will play a great game and will therefor probably buy the newest instalment. Its not hard instead of doing f all and constantly updating that launcher with no improvements what so ever, why don't you just fix it or ditch it.

so the game is still not working properly, just want to give a heads up to the people who see a discount and think that it might be worth it. lets give some extra info just for fun: game is out for nearly a month, early access worked better than post launch, multiplayer does not work so its an EXCLUSIVELY ONLINE SINGLE PLAYER GAME which is quite possible the dumbest type of game imaginable, the only reviews that make sense and make actual points are the negative ones, is the first AAA game tthat flopped so hard that had to do a 40% OFF sale within its first month just to try and recuperate some money AND STILL FAILED, releases patch notes slower than ps 2 era game developers, and most of all is completely out of touch with gamers. all the reviews i have seen were either dumb or not detailed enough so here is all you have to know. the actual gameplay is alright but if the game don't work why care about its gameplay.

played this game both on the pc and on the deck and its phenomenal, ok the beginning was a bit rocky (performance wise) but quickly it ran solidly on both a high end pc and the steam deck, why this game got no nominations baffels me so yea play this game if you like extended harry potters wizarding word lore and if you want a chill game for the deck that can run great on both the internal ssd (for the ones with the storage) and the sd card (for the ones without the storage). also free new cosmetics outta nowhere was a little treat.

objectively the worst dlc i've ever owned, literally crashes at the 2nd cutscene all the time on my steamdeck. not even skipping it works since it backtracks to the scene and force restarts my deck for no reason. i have a pc but i like playing on the deck more and i won't just say a dlc is good if it is good on my pc when it can't run on my deck ( literally never crashed before and now it only crashes, and its always the same spot ). so my impressions are simple ♥♥♥♥ dlc doesn't run, game is still good tho

september 10th 2023: how can i defend a game that runs like ♥♥♥♥ no matter the settings. pc: high solid 20fps, max solid 20 fps, low solid 20 fps, medium solid 20 fps, steamdeck: high 10 on a good day, max 5 on a good day, medium solid 15 fps, low solid 25 fps somehow runs better than my pc for some reason. and stop saying its because of grphics this or driver that since its just not , this game is horribly optimised and was a waste of even the discounted price. don't buy this game in 2023, wait like 5 years for the 6th gen of rtx cards to release and maybe then it will play at a solid 30 fps and maybe if we wait a decade it will be 40. don't buy even if the story sounds interesting, runs like ♥♥♥♥, can't defeat more than 2 enemies unless on easiest difficulty because of frameskipping and the first 2 parts are literally hell to do anything even cutscenes just work like garbage. literally an ugly cactus takes 2 minutes to get into view. not worth it. just another rushed game due to idiots who put deadlines on projects. STOP PUTTING RELEASE DATES ON PROJECTS UNLESS THEY ARE LITERALLY COMPLETE. literally 6 months afer the game is out its just as bad as release day, what a dissapointment, and this game is hinting to a sequel... don't buy not worth it even discounted. a waste of 40 euro's and a waste of 120gb on my ssd on both deck and pc
January 29th 2024: still just as bad as before, i will never finish this game, not worth the horrible experience

very simple: this game is ♥♥♥♥, easiest difficulty is not even close to easy and every difficulty is the same. all cars have acceleration that is 20x yours and the only races you can genuinly win due to this games bad design is races with at least 20% of road elements or more and every drift challenge. the reason why this is is because of traffic+ rubber-banding that should not exist in racing game. there is way to much traffic in small 2 car wide tunnels that only the npcs can go through and not even any traffic on highways and there is only rubber banding when it comes to the cars behind and the cars in front will beat you easily even if your car is rated 209 ( highest possible for A tier ) and the others are lower and that's straight up because of their abysmally unrealistic acceleration that you as the player can't even come close to recreating and since the higher tiers are locked behind story you can't even use higher tier cars to race nor can you use a s tier car in an a tier class. this game is way worse than nfs heat and nfs most wanted and yet it claims to be similar, similar my ass, i was actually good in those games and the racing felt good unlike this piece of ♥♥♥♥

has a lot of glitches that are great for speedrunning, allthough i don't run i am quite impatient and therefor i am kinda used to breaking the game just to go to places via a selfmade path. the game is great for players like me, no visible way up? let me jumpspam up via the cloth overhangs. glitched a side mission, no worry you can glitch yourself back into them and i can go on and on. no crashes either and no gamebreaking glitches so far meaning my save file is still completely intact :).

EDIT2: its really ♥♥♥♥ on a normal pc it crashes nearly instantly (within 10 minutes) so now i understand the negative reviews, just play it on the steam deck and you'll be fine
