Both visuals and writing are horrible: repetetive and boring. There's no meaningful choices, the drama seems made out of cardboard.

Lots of funny achievements! Your choices actually matter! All three (four?) stories in this game are truly touching! Hilarious, deep and sad at the same time. The art is quite amazing as well, having that sweet retro feeling. If you like plot-centered games with multiple endings, smart dialogues and characters you easily fall in love with - i can't recommend this game enough! <3 I guess, this game makes you a better person somehow.

I do not recommend this game for people, who care too much about the gameplay itself. This game isn't about action. This game isn't even a game. It is a unique experience, though. Which certainly deserves attention.
Every little detail in "Gone Home" is made with love and charming wit. The whole atmosphere of this game is full of cosiness and some kind of nostalgic sweetness. Exploring, looking at personal things, reading letters and private notes... It makes you feel a bit like a spy (what a wonderful opportunity to satisfy your inner stalker!).
I absolutely adore Lonnie's drawings! As well as Terrance's incredibly cheesy books. But most of all i am impressed by the epical novel, dedicated to the mysteries of menstrual cycle.
The main storyline is very sweet. It also supports all the young lesbians, who share emotions of the main heroines... I'd better shut up and stop giving out spoilers. Check out "Gone home", if you are kind and sentimental human being, who understands jokes and finds pleasure in reading sentences.
