my mouse character can stand still and auto parry attacks for 6 seconds while i swing a lance bigger than my entire body twice over and still hit things outside of the actual physical model range despite it's size already

literally the best RPG in the last 10 years

Pulled Linux support (which includes the Steam Deck) to "curb cheating" because their third party anti-cheat doesn't support Linux in a way that actually... stops cheating?

What?

This feels like a mobile game, in every sense. I got three popups, and then one after every game to buy a microtransaction pack. Movement feels extremely floaty and snappy at the same time, which is an insane accomplishment.

A minimalist, beautiful, non-euclidean world with a gravity-warping non-euclidean puzzles littered for you to solve. Manifold Garden kept my full attention for the three hours of rushing through the puzzles without stopping to see the sights. I'd really recommend you take a long look around you as you solve these puzzles. Take your time to explore the architecture around you and appreciate the art of the world, the ending will pay off a lot better!

Manifold Garden left me stumped because I was over-engineering several puzzles-- which is crazy to think you can do that with a non-euclidean puzzle game! Puzzle solutions are a lot easier to figure out as you learn the rules of the world, how gravity manipulates the environments.

TL;DR A great puzzle game which deserves your devoted attention to the detail and love of the world.

Worth full price off-sale for puzzle game enthusiasts, a must buy for anybody on sale.

Creation is beautiful. It can have meaning, it can show worlds previously unimaginable to people. Ideas, thoughts, concepts, and so much more. These ideas so forward, conveyed to the people viewing the medium, can shape how people view both the world and the creator.

But what does it mean to create? Are all things designed meant to be seen, are there things that are made to feel, to develop and experience yourself? Are things capable of being created to just exist? Is meaning always attached to those creations?

What does it mean to create?

They spit in creator's faces with absolutely no thought on the fact that they are the reason the game is thriving.

Thanks for EAC, it totally stopped all the crashing that happens in publics. Totally.

After several months of deliberation, I can say that Destiny is not a good game to get into. The Light and Dark saga finished with a huge bang, a wonderful cap on the experience and was overall received like one of the best Destiny DLCs to date-- only to be met with MORE layoffs than what followed Lightfall.

This game is going to die, slowly, slowly, slowly. Don't watch it bleed out, find something else to play.

EDIT: The 2.0 town hall was laced with ignoring actual community complaints (i.e the perk book system, glass jars, etc) and blaming the players for them not getting bandits out on time, because fixing their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mistakes and bringing stuff back after they removed it in 1.0 takes too much time for them.

Most of their changes that they're making are simple icon and text changes, along with adding crafting abilities for badges instead of challenges. Apparently, these changes are so hard to make, that it's costing us precious time (/s) on making bandits. In the Unity engine.

Something that I have literally prototyped in about a week. Sure, it would need a LOT of polishing and optimizing, but I'm also just one person and not a team of developers.

Original post below:

The release of 7DTD 1.0 was honestly laughable, with a large swath of things changed completely and content removed, one of which being because of the new 1.0 release's player models, all lootable clothing was removed. Clothing shops are left over in game that really only serve to get cloth fragments now.

While that itself doesn't sound bad, now, with the release of the 2.0 update (yes, 2.0 only a mere year after 1.0 when we took over ten years to get out of EA) we now have three separate 9 dollar armor DLC packs.

Yes, three single armor set DLCs for 9 dollars a piece off sale. Some of which were supposedly going to a part of a free armor update. But I guess not anymore.

We still don't have clothing back for our characters, but you sure as ♥♥♥♥ can get more stuff by throwing money at them.

I know it's so miniscule, but it's one of many, many issues with this game and the direction it's going. This is just the one that is the most annoying to me, personally.
