I bought this game as I was led to believe "choices matter". They "matter" only insofar as the dialogue changes slightly. This is incredibly misleading and I wish I could get a refund. This is not a game so much as it's a visual novel with minor dialogue deviations. I'm sure this kind of "game" appeals to some, but it doesn't do much for me. I won't be buying any other Telltale visual novels.

Would highly recommend this game for anyone wanting a very casual two player couch co-op experience. This game has been developed with beginners in mind, so controls are fairly easy, and puzzles are never particularly difficult. That having been said, the visuals are beautiful, the story is immersive, and level mechanics change between levels, ensuring play doesn't become too repetitive and stale. If you're looking for a game to play on the couch with a couple of controllers, this is perhaps the best two-player couch co-op game I've played, and I honestly hope this game is highly successful such that other developers will realise that couch co-op and highly story-driven games can still be a great success.

Having been playing Worms since the days of Worms 2, World Party etc. I've tried to be fair to this game, but it's just a terrible addition to the Worms franchise.
The camera flits all over the place during your turns and ruins quickly chained shots (such as shotgun shots) - especially when firing offscreen.
The vehicles are a fairly mixed bag as to their ease-of-use and usefulness.
The crafting could have added an interesting element to the game, but instead is horrible to use and instead wastes valuable turn time.
Finally, the developers refuse to listen to the community and implement a gamemode where all weapons are available, so you can't just have a good old-fashioned slug-fest using whatever you like.
On top of all this, there's no point in "competing" for the World Record scores, as hackers have ruined this mechanic with 0.00 second wins on each of the stages, and Team17 doesn't care about doing anything about it.
The only positive thing I can say for this Worms game over others is the art style. The "hand-drawn 2D look" they speak of in the Steam description does look great. The "best worms experience ever" line however - so far from the truth.

Overall, highly disappointing. If I could get a refund, I would, but unfortunately I've spent a few hours evaluating it - as all games should be given a decent chance, and this is beyond Steam's refund time limit.
Don't waste your money.
