I wanted to like this game but there are two big issues that prevent me from recommending it.

1) Some of the contradictions aren't self-contained. Let me give an example to explain what I mean by that. At one point you have to point out that the statements "we don't advocate threshold training" and "the CD is used in training" contradict each other, because the CD in question mentions threshold training. Except that information isn't anywhere on the interrogation screen and you're just expected to remember it from the investigation. If you happened to take a break or even go to sleep in between listening to the CD and questioning the witnesses, you could easily forget the exact contents of what you heard without realizing that it was vital to progressing in the game. To me this is a cardinal sin in a mystery game.
2) It turns out you had the main clue you need to solve the mystery from the very beginning and you spend 95% of the investigation chasing plot threads that don't get resolved and are used as teasers for a sequel that may never come out.

It was a good effort but it just didn't work for me.

In short, this is Uchikoshi's best game since 999.

Ironic kusoge is still kusoge.
