This joyful game helped me get over my perfectionist tendencies and submit to the whimsy of the chaos gods (Tzeentch, specifically). Prepare to grin, chuckle and chortle your way through plenty of abominations. There will be silly little guys, there will be unspeakable horrors - don't overthink it, just keep making!

It was the late 90's (so blessed) - I was little more than a grade school munchkin when I played Duke Nukem 3D and Shadow Warrior, hot off the shelves. An impish schoolmate (who likely had more knowledge of Windows 95 than any of the staff at the time) had quietly installed them on a PC in the computer lab and sometimes we would play during recess when the adults were busy elsewhere. It was my first brush with FPS games and grown-ass PC gaming in general. This was all a fading memory when more than two decades later, I am delightfully blindsided by Ion Fury, which scratches a nostalgic itch I didn't really know I had, and it feels *so good*. The art, the music, the levels, the arsenal, the "shoot first, drop scathing one-liners later" protagonist... Y'all really nailed it. Thank you so much for this.

Can't believe it took me this long to get around to such a masterpiece - if you love games with incredible art direction, immersive ambience, and clever/satisfying puzzles, I cannot recommend INSIDE enough.
