Let me start by saying that this game is fantastic as far as the actual gameplay is concerned: the visuals, attention to detail, soundtrack, everything.

However, there's another part about this game that isn't so nice, and that is the actual software. To play this game, you have to (1) have internet connectivity, and (2) sign up for a Rockstar Social Club account (or whatever it's called), even if you want to play the singleplayer story mode only. Forcing users to have an internet connection and to sign up for an account to play an offline game is ridiculous. Often times, the game will refuse to let you into the menu if it fails to connect to Rockstar's servers (which, by the way, doesn't work often times, so you'll find yourself opening this game several times in a row in the hope it will actually open). In addition, you also have to install the Rockstar launcher, so you're looking for an extra gigabyte JUST for the launcher. At least it doesn't seem like it runs as poorly as, say, Epic Games' launcher, so... congratulations, Rockstar?

But what certainly takes the cake is the DRM/cheating protection that this game uses. I'm using "DRM" and "cheating protection" as an umbrella term, as I don't really know what they're using here. What I do know is that whatever they're using here will completely break your game whenever it feels like doing it. One day, your game launches, and then BOOM, it stops working all of a sudden. Some users online have reported having to upgrade their system firmware just to be able to play, others have had to uninstall some software to get this game to work. Seems like Rockstar is quite happy about completely breaking this piece just to keep l33t h4xx0rz from debugging their garbage launcher.

While the actual game itself is very respectable, the software behind it is such a spit on your mouth. Don't take my word for it: go to the Steam community page for this game and see the heaps of forum posts about users not being able to launch this game. I wouldn't even recommend playing this if you've received this for free. What's the point on playing something just to have it break after 200 hours of wasted gameplay?

Early Access Review
A fun & very addicting classic free platformer. Loved every second of it, though it gets incredibly difficult towards the end (or, at least, the end as of now, since this game is not finished yet). Even if you're not a fan of big challenges (it does get quite difficult), you can still create your own levels and play levels made by other players.

Despite being early access, it seems very polished: I've seen just one or two bugs while playing this and they're not game breaking bugs. This game being open source lets the community study it and improve it.

There's nothing to lose with SuperTux, if you need a game to play when you're bored but don't want to play a big game, definitely give it a shot.

Nice game :) Also there's some bonus stuff to do after you finish the game, so there's more stuff to do after you finish the game, which I think it is really cool.

Nice, but if you have no friends to play with then I don't really think there's much point on buying this game, except if you want to discover new frens on online servers.

Nice art style, OST and design, but the poop jokes made me cringe haHAA
I think multiplayer is even better than playing alone since it's fun :)

Nice game, I really had fun with it :) But, again, I don't really think there's much point into playing this game if you have no friends to play with, since I think you'll have WAY more fun if you play with friends. Also, I love taking pictures and messing with ragdolls, it's really cool :)

Nice and nostalgic game. It's fun even if you're not playing with friends. Also, tons of minigames created by the community itself, really nice :)
