One day this game will be good, but I'm giving this game a thumbs down and keeping it that way just for the sole fact that they did not iron out any of these big issues before releasing it.

My reasons why this game was a huge disappointment....

-ADD A SINGLE RALLY MODE. The fact y'all don't have one is cheap and lazy. It would also take some light off of your garbage career mode. I would love to be able to take some of those Group B cars to a historic rally and face off against some AI legends. ALL THE PIECES ARE THERE SO JUST DO IT.

- The calendar system in career has been and still is a joke in these games. You need to perform maintenance on your vehicle but those events don't popup because staff needs to rest Instead you get forced to do try outs for teams you have no interest in joining which negatively effects your relationship with your own team.

-Every time you join a new team career your money resets.

-When I joined Toyota it took the current WRC world champion out of the game, making it feel like last years driver lineup.

-Season mode and Career mode are essentially the same thing minus the staff. Stop selling it as different modes when it could just be a setting in career mode.

The list goes on, but if you guys could clean up career mode which is just littered with flaws or even just fix the things that I mentioned a few more people would start recommending this game and that includes my self.

Here's a list of reasons you should not buy this game (especially if you played Dakar 18)

- No getting out of the car to use your shovel, rope and recovery boards or to ask for assistance.

- Navigator is significantly worse than Dakar 18. He sounds like something from a D-List action movie. Also he told me I was going the wrong direction for 8 km only for me to make it to the next waypoint without issue. If I didn't know how to read a roadbook, I'd be completely lost.

- AI is insufferably bad. I couldn't enter the checkpoint due to a pile up at the finish boards and it ruined the whole event.

- Literally the only thing I enjoyed in this game was being able to play as Ari Vatanen in a Peugeot but I could already do that in Dakar 18.

Some of these things can be fixed but it is going to take a while. Save your money and buy Dakar 18 for a more authentic Dakar experience. But if for some reason you wanted Dirt 5 without guardrails and signs made by a worse developer, then be my guess.

Don't buy this game. it's a rip off of MoW2 and the devs use the scummiest cash grab techniques. If they had an award for worst malpractice in gaming, these guys without a doubt would win. They honestly make EA and Bethesda look like good guys. They'll release unfinished stuff with a finished price tag like Gates of Ostfront. The achievements in that DLC still use their original file names LMAO

If you still really want to check this game out, then wait for a sale and buy the basic edition, that way you feel less guilty about giving any of your money to these guys.

This game just simply isn't finished and is an obvious cash grab. Don't believe me, just look at the achievements. Some still have their file names ffs...

I'd rather slit my wrists and swim in lemon juice than to try and understand this game's naval system. If I had a Nickel for every time the enemy "Evaded Damage", I'd have enough money to buy this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ franchise and make sure no one wastes their money on it. Way better options out there, seriously. ALSO THERE IS NO RAP AROUND MAP WHICH IS PRETTY LAZY IF YOU ASK ME. SO IF YOU WANT TO PLAY ANY OF THE AMERICAS PREPARED TO BE ANNOYED

This really does make you feel like a German in WW2. Everything is super scarce like the prestige that is used for currency. You have to manually replenish your troops before battle which costs prestige which you don't have. So pretty much the game is an okay hex-based game until you've invaded France, then it truly becomes a waste of money.

This game is unfinished and I feel like an idiot for buying such a poorly thrown together game. Save your money.
