If Planet Coaster is the sequel to Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, Parkitect is the sequel to Roller Coaster Tycoon 2. THIS IS A GOOD THING. Amusement park sims look better and better but also have gotten overwhelming in customization options. Parkitect takes a welcomed step back to a simpler interface and building style. Instead of freestyle, we go back to tiled layouts, THANK GOODNESS. It's so much easier to build this way. RCT 2 was always my favorite even as it got dated. Parkitect breathes new life into a classic with loads of other welcomed features. I like having to manage the behind-the-scenes work and hiding it from public view. Looking forward to multiplayer.

Very polished and well done VR workout game. It's basically a hybrid of Soundboxing and Beat Saber. Very well choreographed songs. The intensity is pretty high. I was taken aback a bit by the beginner level. I didn't expect to be so winded afterward. Now advanced mode is where I usually play. I haven't bothered with Expert yet. If you want a very fun workout, get this. I'm not so sure I'd play this game for non-workout fun, but for working out it's way high on my list.

As far as using your own music, you can do it. But the sound analyzer pretty much just finds the time of the song and goes on that. It won't be choreographed well. You CAN create and edit your own levels with your own songs, but it's way more complex than the Soundboxing editor. I'd love to be able to play other user creations. Hopefully that's a feature in the future.

I buy VR games primarily for fitness. The trailers didn't lead me to believe that this game would be too physically intense. Wrong! It's an immersive game that keeps you moving. Granted, you could just stand there and play by just moving back and forth and shooting. OR you could be like me and dance your way through each level. It's a very fun game. Beats, music and killing assassins set to a great soundtrack. This is one of my new favorites and will be in every workout routine.

If you were like me and were jonesing for an updated version of SimGolf, here you go!

If you're not familiar with SimGolf, it was a great golf resort designing and management game from the early 2000's. This game is a similar concept but with tools to give you a lot more creativity. I'm not a golf fan, or a golf video game fan. I'm a sim fan. Even though golf isn't really my thing, this pushes all the right sim/design buttons for me.

Good factory automation game. You get humans as a resource, but you're trying to constantly move away from using them. This easily presses the right buttons for a factory and resource management game. A little janky at times, but you eventually figure out how to make things work.

A challenging factory/automation game that's also very relaxing and pressure free. No time limits, no monsters, no clanging and banging, no hissing steam, no running around. A steal at the current price!

Townscaper is a simple sandbox builder that's cute as pie. This is a great foundation for a game. I look forward to see what comes next. I'd love to see people added.

Slay the Spire with tower defense elements and it's all on roids. Very entertaining and strategic.

An absolute delight! I wouldn't really describe this as a tactical RPG. This is a story driven, choices matter, RPG that happens to have turn based, tactical combat. The comic style graphics work well with the story visuals. You're not getting XCOM graphics, but you're getting a lot more character depth.

Wyldermyth pushes these happy buttons for me:

- Lots of character customization - You can assign personality types and make characters that reasonably look like you and your friends if that's what you're into. You can write your own bio or take the one given.
- Choices really matter - You are often presented with two or more choices to make given various situations. I learned quite early on that even a casual decision can have a permanent, unexpected result. You have limited inventory. Loot must be equipped or scrapped immediately. You don't get to redo much of anything, so choose wisely.
- Time matters - Your characters age. Travelling, researching and scouting take time. Your decision to take on one task may prevent you from doing another if you don't consider time.
- Lots of stats!
- Romance and rivalries - And with no gender or orientation limits.
- Families and offspring
- A unique, environmental take on magic users
- Leveling up and ending a chapter are very rewarding

If you like Divinity: Original Sin you'll like Wildermyth. Plus you don't have to deal with a crazy huge inventory system.
