Great chill game. I remember playing it on Stadia prior to its closure. Im glad I got to play and finish this game on Steam. Very atmospheric. No deaths. Open world and the achievements are 100% doable with the guide. There are no missable achievements. The quests are easy to follow and the cosmetic unlocks are easily attainable. Recommended you play with the controller.

its sad to hear about what happened to the Developers of this game; they did truly amazing work on this title. Great story telling, fun battles, comprehensive quests. This game left me begging for more.

I remember first playing this game as a kid. I've always wanted to play this game again. Now that im able to buy and play the game via Steam and have a better understanding of how to play and how to solve mysteries, this game actually goes much deeper. There is no shortage of things to do, and I really thought this game was way ahead of its time.

You can play with an NPC as a partner - you can find them throughout various parts in the game and with different partners, also unlock different missions.

You can have pets - You catch eggs, hatch them after a while and then feed and raise them into a warrior that you can take along with you everywhere. You can either have a pet or a golem. (A GOLEM??)

Have a robotic golem pet - this is probably the most expensive yet the most fun part of the game. You can recycle your old weapons or forge specific weapons just for this use and its so rewarding to have pieces that just fit. Youre presented with a grid where you make pieces fit tetris style and they correlate to skills and positioning of your golem. You can only have a golem or a pet at a time plus an NPC partner.

There is a forging system for weapons, armor and magical instruments.
from magical instruments, you can get token to forge other forms of magical instruments or temper your weapons and armor for bonus stats.

you can also plant and harvest crops. These crops can be used to feed and raise your pets. Since golems have fixed stats based on what you build, pets stats can grow and alter based on what you feed it - and they gain levels unlike golems.

There are many story arcs in the game, too. This game is packed with quests. And quests lead to more quests and more artifacts and more stories. The guides for this game is much thicker and much more detailed than any other guide i have followed and if you fail a quest or dont do them in the right order, you will need to replay the entire game again (which i just didnt want to do).

I strongly suggest reading through the conversation and interaction between quests and characters because they do tell and share very good stories (and lessons) and follow guides that will lead you to the right direction to get the full experience of the game.

Im not so sure with everyone else who played this game, but this game was such a nightmare and a roller coaster to play at the same time. Everything just happened to quickly and stuff that happens to Alex Chen (the protagonist) is so relatable. I really enjoyed this game just as much as the other Life Is Strange games.

This one sort of had a lot more interaction with the community than with any other of their previous titles. This also had a much larger area to roam around compared to their past titles and their DLC is like a full game, but also somewhat teases their next title.

DLC SPOILER
The DLC is almost like a full game. Not to spoil anything, but it does ask if you have played the first one with Max and if you saved or destroyed Arcadia Bay. Then sometime after the first few seasons pass, Steph makes a reference to Arcadia Bay and Amber. I've tried to look into the back story and i dont ever recall a "Steph" in the previous titles other than a connection to Blackwell Academy.. and that well.. Steph somewhat also has a connection with Seattle in some way shape or form...

Couple of things that stands out:
Why do you have to reach your hand out someone to read their emotions?
I think pauses in conversation can be powerful, but its too long sometimes for a normal interaction.
I hate Ethan.
Yay for Asian representation.

Overall, I enjoyed the game, the LARP was kind of a curve ball and the mini games did help break up the pace and tension. It could be something you can play for a second time for a different outcome and if youre the type to hunt for achievements, just like the previous titles, you can easily go back into their chapters and get what youre missing to get 100% in the game.

Just as the first one, this one is very well done. I love how the whole entire controller is maximized for all the skills and mobility that the game offers. The obstacle courses are not ridiculously difficult but they are fun and manageable to get by. You will die A LOT, but thats just part of the game. I had to consult a couple of guides to help me get though certain places and get as many achievements as I could. The graphics are beautiful and the story telling is very well done. I hope there will more of the Ori series game to come.

This game deserves more attention. Its a beautiful game with decent puzzle elements. It truly gave me a sense of discover and exploration with little clues on what to do next. I like that there are no boss fights in this game and just solely based on basic game strategy and concepts. There are some few glitches with the map and getting stuck though, but luckily they have the option to respawn at the most recent save point.

I had to play this game more than twice to get multiple endings and all the achievements. Overall; great game.
My favorite part in the first game were the chase scenes; although i could not remember more than one instance of it. However, there were a lot more of those pieces in this game which made it very exciting to play and consistently on the edge of my seat.
