READ!!!

I do not recommend this game to the average person. I'm not trying to sound quirky I'm just being realistic.
In its current state it is not widely accessible. Plenty of bugs and lag and minor lack of content (it's early access).
However, the core concept and gameplay are really really unique and fun. To have an entire city where you can explore every single building and every npc has a schedule and could be a culprit, it's very cool.

The MAIN reason this game is fun and stands out in my opinion, is procedural generation and active civilians.

The fingerprint system is awesome with every citizen having unique finger prints that they place whenever they touch things.

You're not a cop, you're a detective, so your character has to break the law to solve cases-- sneaking into homes via procedurally made air vents or lock picking doors, stealing keys, disabling security systems, etc.

You find spent bullet casings, bullet holes, finger prints, corpses, handwriting similarities, descriptions from random onlookers, and there are an incredibly large amount of cases available to take at any given time, due to them being listed as jobs in bars in restaurants.

Basically, I think this is a really fun game that will earn me my money's worth, despite quite laggy sections randomly kicking in when i enter vents or open doors, cases bugging because i threw a document in the dumpster instead of placing it directly next to it, and a small lack of diversity in types of crime/cases.

I believe in this developer due to what is available now, and am confident it will improve and become even better over time.

Someone said Noita + Vampire Survivors. I think thats a perfect description of this game. You combine different "organs" to create your own attacks from scratch to fight off waves in a roguelike. Really unique and really fun. Well worth the price without a doubt in my mind, 4 dollars is a steal for this game.

Never played anything like it before. Fun RTS roguelike where a lot of your time is spent analyzing enemy ships for weaknesses and managing power distribution, being ready to make sacrifices and spur of the moment decisions. This will sound very corny/lame but it really makes you feel like a spaceship captain (in a videogame kind of way) as you decide what risks to take, if you're willing to risk the fuel to go to a nearby shop, diverting power to drones because your weapons are fully disabled, having crewmates risk their lives repairing a completely destroyed engine room because without it you can't escape, its truly incredible. In roguelike fashion, it's incredibly hard and I haven't even touched normal mode yet at the time of this review as I've only done easy mode, BUT: it feels fair. I always feel like regardless of the cards I've been dealt, every run is winnable in some way if you're strategic enough.

Plenty of incentive to replay as well, with new ship unlocks and some checkbox I haven't touched yet that offers more items/enemies for a harder gameplay tradeoff.

Plenty of random events to spice things up and the crewmates you can find have different races with pros and cons, such as the rock guys that are tanky and move slow but immune to fire, or the mantis people that are stronger in combat against people who board your ship but slower to repair.

If I have to list negatives, the boarding ship combat isn't too impressive. When people board your ship they target a room, then move to another room after disabling the system. You send crewmates to fight them, and they just auto attack each other. However, the fun comes in when you decide how to deal with them, trying to destroy the enemy teleporter or deploying combat drones, etc.

I don't even really like RTS games but this really is it's own thing. Buy at full price.

Crazy fun and quite difficult. One of those classic Isaac "try and break the game" type games where you increase your stats more and more with items you pick up. Honestly no complaints, other than the artstyle sometimes making it difficult to understand what's going on. Crazy fast paced.

Got it on sale for 6 dollars. At that price its an obvious recommend. At full price for 15 dollars...only if you like roguelike games or his other game Brotato.

due to the artstyle and first impression of the gameplay, you expect a roguelike that is a fast paced arcade shooter. instead, you're greeted with a tactical shooter where you have to keep track of your ammo and hold corners. no invincibility dodging, only a character who can shield (which roots him in place) which in itself is a gamble due to mobility being crazy important. this game is hectic while maintaining strategy and feels extremely unfair in a fair way.
