If this was what casinos were like in real life I'd be bankrupt within the week

only get this if you can get some friends to play with. steam remote play is awful
the more friends playing the more fun and less difficult it becomes as well

fun game with terrible developers.
they lied about a pve mode, and then released overwatch 2 after a long delay with no changes to the real game, with free to play and new monetization that is ridiculous.
they consistently add new characters that break the game and then nerf them after a while to uselessness.
they do not value their community.


GAMEPLAY REVIEW:
the core gameplay of overwatch is fun. you will not find casual fun here, as it shares the same virus league of legends does.
even in unranked, you feel driven to play competetively, as that is the vibe of the game.
a significant amount of aiming combined with tactical usage of abilities and ultimates provides a team versus team competetive experience no other hero shooter has properly nailed before.
the community is extremely toxic, and even if you perform well people will blame you for their faults.

overall, it is a good game, with few faults to the core gameplay formula, as well as being free to play. with these concepts in mind i reccommend playing it. however, the negative reviews are not just review bombs and have truth to them.

If you have a basic computer and are looking for a chill roguelike this isn't bad.

Fun to try and get synergies and make huge combos, honestly think kids shouldn't be allowed to play this it's basically a gambler's perfect casino.

this is what happens when game devs actually give a ♥♥♥♥ about making a game fun instead of obsessing over graphics and other stuff. tiny dev team has pulled off what triple A companies fail to achieve again and again.

I see people calling this a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ roblox game mode, which is extremely inaccurate.
The roblox engine can not support this size of player count as well as the smoothness of the controls and systems in this game. Anyone claiming so is just doing so due to the artstyle, which is pixelated and blocky. Don't let that put you off.

You can tell the developer put a lot of love into this.
If you like Binding of Isaac or similar roguelikes, I.E. Enter the Gungeon, this game is spot on for you.
Feels more inspired by Gungeon than Isaac, but is it's own thing.

I love how in most games the beginner character gets a pistol or an assault rifle or something but in this game your starter character effectively gets a boomerang.

One of the biggest selling points for me is the mobility.

Dodge rolling, climbing on walls, jumping miles above the fight to stomp on enemies, it's really unique for its genre.
Don't be dissuaded if you struggle a bit at the start, just keep trying and use the wall-running often.

Then there's the replayability.

So far, I am not incredibly sucked in like I was with isaac for example, but that's an unfair comparison as isaac has a lot of content and with all dlcs costed me probably 80 dollars or so.

This game has some big motivators to keep playing, such as modifiers to make the game harder, a farming simulator to grow upgrades and items, character unlocks, and some semi-secret stuff involving beating bosses without getting hit once and giving "Crowned Teeth" to your elevator friend.


Overall, the game is fully released, but I am disappointed, as with the amount of content it provides it deserves a much higher amount of players than many other roguelikes on steam.
I look forward to more updates and games from this team.

really fun with friends. lacking a little bit in content if you compare it to the goats like isaac. however dev is adding stuff and plans on even adding a 1v1 mode i believe. so i have faith. Definitely worth 10 dollars
