It is a quite addicting game, though the movement is kind of hard to get used to. I would love to see revealed squares remain revealed so I don't have to remember where in a square a place was, even if it shows the general area on the main map. But it's fun gameplay and good tactics. Can't wait for Levendell to be opened!

I am a big fan of the board game, so when I heard this was online, I jumped at the chance to get it.

It's good. It could be better. But it's good for what it does. It definitely needs a bigger online presence - through Steam - and a way to make password protected games for your friends. A little tweaking of mechanices, but otherwise, it's a very faithful adaptation of one of my favorite board games of all time.

Okay, let me put something out here. I hate jumpscare games. I'm a very timid person, so games like FNAF just... no.

But this game, this is different. There are jump scares, but no panicky danger. It's just your mind going.

And I LOVE it.

I hate playing it for the jumpscares, but I LOVE what it is. A wonderful graphic masterpiece, that forces you to explore otherwise creepy areas, so that you can get the full story into what is happening with your protagonist.

One thing I did not really like about this was the difficulty in selecting drawers to look through. The selection circle would flit around unpredictably, and I'm sure I missed items of interest because it flit by so fast. Might be a good idea to have story items 'flicker' to set them aside from other static set pieces. That, and the 'P.T.'-style deaths... I think it's a detraction. The game is scary enough without that already-done mechanic.

But the atmosphere, the 'OMFG' aspect of a lot of the hallucinations. You REALLY have to not rush through it to catch some of them, and that's where some of the creepiest, intriguing moments come in.

At the same time, I can't wait to see more... and I'm dreading what new horrors will be visited upon me in this house. :)
