Dynasty Warriors Franchise returns to it's dominating glory in Dynasty Warriors: Origins.

Even though this is just a Demo, and I can't review the full game because I don't own it, and likely won't until some sort of sale, it is beyond the expression of amazing.

Anyone who has ever enjoyed the thrill of the massive hack and slash battlefield of Dynasty Warriors Franchise is going to absolutely love this game. Just the Demo has me absolutely pumped. I will not be surprised if the full game wins several awards for 2025. The story dynamic is gripping, the voice acting for English has been absolutely polished beyond anything I had hoped for. The art is absolutely top notch. My eyes were watering at the end of the Demo because I couldn't take my eyes off of the screen. Controller support is almost perfect, with the one exception that accidental left stick presses would call my horse and mess up my combo flows.

Other than that one minor annoyance, Origins is absolutely delivering the pure joy and absolute nostalgia of playing Dynasty Warriors.

I really hope that I can get the full game for a real full in-depth review and playthrough.

The game is a classic. Other than not being able to play two player with two controllers, the game is pretty solid even this many years later. The only thing I would change is being able to use two controllers. This is a very simple function that should be easy to fix.

lasted barely a year. Honestly i'm surprised that there hasn't been a lawsuit for people who bought currency in the game. Glad i never did.

The controls are only second worst compared to starbase. There buttons are not designed well, nothing flows. Who's idea was it to make steering control on the horse to be A & D with a free cam? On a computer based game?? for people who don't usually use a controller??? why would you not just have it as mouse control???? The GPS is borked... it goes all over the place and has you staring at a cliffside while it tells you what you're looking for is under the ground.

And what's this with the graphics being good??? My PC isn't a top by any means but this game's graphics are pretty horrible to be perfectly honest. Everything looks grainy and blurry.

I'm sure its a wonderful story... that's what i was looking forward to. but the controls are so horrible and limited i can't even do basic functions in the game. such a shame.

They did this one right. The only problem has been crashes in multiplayer. It's happened to a lot of the people i game with. verifying the files in steam says there is 38 files missing.

Update: so... if you get the 38 files bug, completely remove the game. delete all registry files and reinstall. After the 3rd time of doing this, i had no problem. I still have the battle token bug but a quick restart of the game will fix that.

The game is fun. but it lacks in variety of bikes. Would be nice to get some Harley's going on. Would also be cool to have frames and everything you need to build a bike from the bottom up without having to go to the junkyard.

Lego and Batman. What's not to like? The only thing that is a bit of a pain is the bugged out missions. Like when Batman gets the space suit. It wouldn't drop it like 3 times in a row and i had to redo the mission.

Played the game for a long time on mobile before it came to steam. This game is just a giant money pit. and after forever playing it, spending money, and getting nowhere because of asian money hackers.... it's worthless.

This game is really fun... Against the computer. A lot of the physics are great but it has some errors here and there.

The biggest flaw in the game is multiplayer. Even against someone that has a completely full connection bar the ball disappears after the hit it and reappears right in from of you. Not to mention most players have figured out some stupid spin serve that they don't have to serve properly and it shoots off in every way but straight if you even manage to hit it.

Play it for the computer, not the humans.

What a horrible let down. I had been waiting for this game to go on sale for a while and I'm honestly sorry I bought it now. Going to even try for a refund because, honestly, what a joke. Beat the game in just over an hour. AND WHAT IS WITH THE NUDITY FILTER IN A GAME THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT NAKED ELVES???? It's not even disable-able. Don't buy this game. Four puzzles that were easy as they could be... and the longest part of the game was the 20 minute intro that was a waste of time and the 5 minute boat ride at the end of the game where you don't even get to see the original island. BEYOND STUPID.
