Incredibly good and immersive story writing and outstanding soundtracks. Finished Miss Knives True ending so far, but my experience was amazing. Cannot recommend enough to try this. For a free game, it blows out many paid games in terms of how much fun and interested I was in story.
Keeping my eyes peeled for 2nd chapter!

This is my 4th play-through since 2020, only finished it on Steam recently. I strongly recommend playing the Unrated version first. Steam version cuts out too many plot relevant contents. You can just drag&drop it on Steam install.
Eitherway, this game singlehandedly got me into the visual novel genre. Without getting into spoilers, Story and writing is GREAT, loved Yuuji's writing and all 5 other heroines route (although Yumiko's route felt weak compared to others). Soundtrack & art is also greatly done. Many people complained about the loooooong common route but if you're like me and enjoyed Yuuji's monologue you wouldn't mind it. It's a really long read as well, would probably take 60-70 hours to finish common route and everyone's ending. Definitely worth a read!

Arknights x Punishing Gray Raven. Gameplay is fun and actually optimized for PC. AI can be bit underwhelming though.

Chiffon's Theme Song goes hard, love it and very worthwhile purchase :3

I main Kapkan on defending side. I have never held a mouse since then. All I do is place EDD Traps and watch the kill feed as I get 2-3 kills out of thin air. Great game 10/10

Outward is a Survival Adventure RPG game that's definitely not for everyone. It's still however one of my most favorite games that I've invested loooots of time in it experimenting with many different ways to play it.
The game can be brutally hard for new players as there's almost no handholding in this game. You're neither a hero or a chosen one, but just some ordinary peasant on a great epic journey. Starting off, you have no armor, items, money or even mana as you learn you're in 3 months debt and about to go homeless after a shipwreck. You're left on your own to figure out to get yourself out of this, or not and still progress however you like to explore the wide world of Aurai or do the faction quests. The map in this game also isn't a literal GPS. You have to figure out your location on the map by looking around landmarks. Dungeons also don't have any maps for them. These mechanic can be annoying for some people, or in my case more realistic and immersive.
There's no XP or levelling system so something as simple as hyenas can kill you in any point of the game as easily. It's YOU who has to get better with better equipment's, skills (which you can only master 3 out of 11 different skill trees), learning enemies weaknesses and attack pattern.
There are 4 faction quests, however you can finish 1 faction per new character. The faction quests are not really that long, only 4 missions long and doesn't take much time (as long as you don't die on the way, which you WILL). This adds replayablity to the game, along with it trying out different character builds.
The soundtracks are also ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fantastic and singlehandedly makes walking 20+ mins a pleasurable experience. Graphics looks like something from 2010 but I still find the charm in it and soundtrack enhances it a lot imo.
I recommend anyone giving this game a legitimate shot, it's brutally hard and I almost quit the whole game myself several time in early stages. But once you get better it's incredibly satisfying.

Really darn good sequel, albeit a short one with cliffhanger ending, and as of writing this no announcement for third installment.
The trilogy itself is a incredibly great read! Can't recommend it enough to anyone. Good character and background designs, darn great soundtracks and a really good and interesting plot and well fleshed out character background. Although this sequel didn't focus on heroine routes too much. Fuyumi's route felt awkward and rushed in terms of their relationship, but her development was really fun to see and how she softened up to Ruka. The story for her route was decent.
Next for Ryoko wasn't really a dedicated route with it's own end, rather addition to the main story. Really a great shame since I REALLY loved her character and personality. I really, REALLY wished to see more of her relationship with Ruka, but the moments they had were really good.
It's a great shame that this was cliffhanger ending, but I am really looking forward to the next installment! Also tragic that the prequel was removed from Steam. I REALLY recommend picking it up. The atmosphere, opening animation and soundtrack alone is soo darn good. Easily 9/10 from me.

Very short, but daaaarn it was such a great conclusion to this series! Loved it.
Each heroine's route was little too short for my taste (as tradition to the 9-nine- series) but still memorable. ;_;

Really would recommend picking this series up for anyone! Starting was kinda slow and understandably might not be upto everyone's taste but DAMN the build up it had till Ep4 was insane. This NewEpisode gave this series the formal conclusion very tastefully imo.
