I've spent numeral hours driving trucks in Euro Truck Simulator 2 (and it's multiplayer counterpart) and have enjoyed every single minute of it. The game allows for varying playstyles (realistic or just casual) and also, thanks to it's plethora of DLC's, allows you to create new possibilities and abilities such as the ability to drive heavy haul.
