The game has a lot of potential but they seem to have a bug for almost a year that does not allow you to save the game so you have to start from scratch every time. Most of the games I play on steam are saving to the same folder ( documents ) successfully and all the threads of players complaining about this are not resolved by the game developers.

I recommend if you want to gamble and see if you are affected by this problem or not. If you are affected do not wait for a fix anytime soon.
