Alright so I am a big From fan and have been playing since ds1. This game can be a lot of fun, however the balance is a nightmare. Every run either feels like the game is to easy and my friends and I are decimating everything in our way, or John Dark souls is in the basement of the castle with trolls on the walls. The nightlords can only be so difficult because the run back is so long. The exception is Libra 2.0 and we are hearing how everyone feels about that nightmare. The bugs you had in base elden ring are still here. Plenty of dragons on odd terrain you cant get the critical on. Enemies in weird locations that get stuck and reset. And good lord as a player who loves strength builds can we get the totem to work.

Update - The DLC is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trash and fixes nothing. Bosses stuck under world in new map. Get to fight old nightlords in new map as random events. Just a lazy cash grab.

The Nemesis system is cool, but this is the most repetitive game possible. Wildly dull.

Just beat the game. Fantastic story and combat. Would easily be my game of the year for 2019.
