short sweet and to the point. I got scared towards the bottom and procrastinated the ending by digging the entire hole.

cons: fall damage is annoying. going back up is tedious. I would have liked to see some sell/upgrade checkpoints. There are two prime locations for this. the locked box in the garage is underwhelming for what it gives you. (Why only one use?)

Overall, i do not regret my time in the game only my decision to clear all of the dirt from the hole. 9/10 would recommend and i would come back if there was more to it beyond trophy hunting.

Absolutely worth it. I feel like im in an action movie constantly. My only complaint is the end game scoring. It takes a long time but I just use it as an excuse to get up and stretch my legs.

So many times I'll think about what I'm doing and "Im in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ action movie" is the only thing that comes to mind.

Between airstrikes and calling down stratagems all the way to loading a recoil-less rifle with your buddy to take out a wave of enemies, every last second of it is fun. The sound engineering is amazing. The graphics are awesome (I run it at max settings) especially when there are a lot of explosions going off. Its very common that my buddies will all chuck a few orbital/eagle strikes on a location and the feeling of POWER watching the area get pummeled with ordinance.

There are a few stratagems that quite literally level the battlefield. There is nothing but dirt left over. Dropping onto a hellbomb is hilarious, especially when your buddy does it, dying doesnt feel like its bull, if you died, theres usually a reason.

Let my time played speak for itself. Its so easy to drop hundreds of hours at a time without realizing it. The memes that have arisen from this game are no joke. You have to imagine the type of person who enjoys industrial automation and organization and realize they dont exaggerate as much. I have found myself at 4am with work at 6am. Just one more production line. Just one more ore patch. Okay last biters nest I swear. Oh ♥♥♥♥ now i need to rebuild my spidertron but blue circuits is down because.... you get the idea.

Thats not even getting into mods. Space exploration, krastorio, warptorio, bobs, angels, sea block. Those are all complete overhauls. each one plays COMPLETELY differently and changes the game so much that you could sell each as their own $30 game and it would still be worth it. And lets not forget the endless quality of life mods. There are nuclear overhauls so that your nuclear power plant is closer to real life. There are mods that make trains unload their contents by crashing them. Renai Transport, check it out. This game has absolutely earned its price tag many times over and I cant wait for the official expansion to come out so I can compensate the devs for their time and for the enjoyment ive gotten out of the game.

Oh did i mention how stable the game is even with mods. And how optimized it is. I played this game on a craptop that cant play most browser based games. This game is a case study in optimization.

I do and I dont recommend the game. I do recommend the gameplay, story, and gunplay. It is a genuinely fun game.

There is one bug that is making me not recommend the game. It can not, and will not capture my mouse. Ive tried FOR YEARS to fix it. Ive googled every variation of the issue i can think of. If you go google something to try to find a solution, I promise you, Ive already seen it. Ive reinstalled. Ive verified the files. Ive reinstalled my OS, Ive used intel processors, Ive used AMD processors. I have used the integrated GPU and Ive used dedicated GPUs.

No change on my end makes the mouse capture in the window. Not the cursor, that captures just fine. The X and Y position of the mouse isnt captured. I have three monitors. With the game open, if I move the mouse to the right, the cursor remains within the bounds of the game window, but the OS still registers the mouse as over my discord window and lets me scroll through discord. This happens in game too! Ill be filling a bulldozer with lead, and then ill bump the scroll wheel and I see discord scrolling.

Someone at starbreeze, please message me and let me help you fix this. This has been plaguing me for at least a few years now.

Again, Ive tried every remedy on google. I will buy someone Payday 3 if they have a fix that is permanent and not a kludgy temp fix. I want to be free of this curse.

I just recently got the itch to play again, wish the studio hadnt shut it down.

It looks like a fan is attempting to revive the game on github, so check that out i guess.

And to the developer, if you plan on going after that dev/fan, shame on you. Either do something to revive it, or leave the dev be.

Its a very simple game. build a rolling fortress and crush your enemies while blotting out the sun with bullets. I bought the game a few years ago and tried it again recently and it has improved so much. it has amusing quests and a satisfying game play loop that guides you without treating you like a child.

The main limit is your own creativity.

Oh yeah protect your command block, if that breaks your whole contraption falls to pieces and then you have to go rescue it from another veritable fortress that will one shot the dinky rover the game gives you when you die.

One problem that i ran into is, when you die, it gives you the option to recreate the vehicle you were using. However, its really easy to inflate the cost of your rover because every enemy you defeat drops a lot of blocks. As such i built my creation from the corpses of my enemies. my early game rover was 10x the cost of the money i was able to make in the early game. This means that i have to either go get my remains or start over.

Its exactly whats on the box. You drive a big rig in a digitized version of the west coast. Its not to scale but 1:20 is not bad. Its a great game to settle down and just truck on for a bit to take your mind off the real world while watching netflix or youtube. There is a large modding community that can customize the game to your liking and it has a very in depth options menu to customize the realism.

It has support for racing wheels with shifters and peddles.

It has its downsides but as long as you know what you are getting into you will have fun.

Please understand that there is nothing much more than driving location to location with a side company management mechanic. Given how many hours you can get out of this for its price, in addition to the DLC states are a great value.

Have fun and check out the multiplayer mods.

Its a mobile port. No audio controlls. Starts in full screen with horrid upsacalling. The tutorial is really terrible and wont let you skip it. Tutorial also has you play against another person at one point but before that part could start they instantly disconnected which canceled the tutorial dropping me into a random menu.

This game reminds me of some other "battle against your friends to see who is the best" but with Bloons Branding on it.

Also this is Pay to Win. I have the game open and there is a "double medallions, 4x for members" ad open on the main screen. 1.99 for 400 medallions. 4.99 for 1000 medallions plus "unlimitted club access."

Im trying to navigate some of the menus and the sound is rediculously loud.

There is a mode which allows you just play against a computer much like previous Bloons games but you get no money per bloon its based on the main games income system where you recieve money per set amount of time.
