It's the first time I've seen an in-game manual used as a game mechanic, which is already cool, but also this game will remind you of the good ol' days in a warm and fuzzy way. Go in blind, enjoy the ride.

I mean, it's harvest moon if harvest moon actually improved upon its formula ever. If you've ever played Harvest Moon you already know if this is for you.

It ticks all the right rogue boxes for me:

- Difficult enough that I've never beaten it on easy after 100 hours
- Too many damn builds to master
- A bunch of arcane nonsense I can't come close to comprehending (stats, crafting)
- Enough rope to hang yourself with if you start thinking you're getting the hang of it
