We're getting pretty good at pandemics now. This game will let you prove it.

Picked this game up fairly cheap (around £10) around the end of January 2021. I've been playing mainly with a team of 2-3 other players, but have also done a fair amount of solo missions.

Overall, I'd say this is a great game to play with a group of friends. It has enough content for a good few hours of play (since each round has a randomly generated ghost type and location) and is both cheap enough and straightforward enough that you can bring more people in to play without cost or learning curve being a real barrier to entry. I can't recommend this enough for party play.

Without the support and assistance of your team, solo play can seem a lot more intense and frightening. While I would recommend the game to just about anyone to play as part of a group, I'd only really advise players who enjoy and are familiar with the horror genre pick this game up to play solo.

I'd give it a 7/10 at this point in its development. Great concept, well executed, and interesting enough to keep you playing for a while. Once you learn your way around the 8 (or so) maps the game can feel a touch linear and formulaic when playing solo, but this can be offset by the shenanigans that take place when you add more players into the mix. I can't wait to see where this game goes next.

I used to be an adventurer like you....

Once growing old or other circumstances mean that you are unable to quest as you once did, I could not recommend more that you open up your own shop rather than joining your local city guard. That way you can have hour after hour of enjoyment as you peddle your wares to prince, pauper, knight and knave.

Be your own boss, choosing what to sell and where in your shop to place it. Hate wizards? Don't stock any mana potions. Want to get straight to the point? Only sell swords! Think your back wall keeps looking at you funny? Knock it down!

So far Shoppe Keep has proven to be an interesting and entertaining little game where you get to run your own shop, your own way. I can't wait to see what the developers do with the game as time goes on.

10/10 would recommend at this price.

PS. Look down while limping around your shop to help explain why you are no longer the questing type.
