A simple game you can just boot up and get into, no learning required. Depending on your server choice the atmosphere can be relaxing or absolutely degenerate. All in all, a comforting game with some lovely people. Most importantly - it has $gambling$

This review is for the steam awards. But even if that's the case, the game is really fun. It's constantly getting updates and improving drastically.
It also has a big modding scene. Wan't to rise from the stone(wood) age? There's a mod for that. Want to extensively explore space? Mod for that. Want to die an even more gruesome death from the biters? Lot's of mods for that.
Buy it, play it, maximise efficiency.

Good game to sit back, relax, chill, worry about how you placed the tiles wrong, lose and start chilling all over again
