takes a bit of getting used to if you came from the souls/bloodborne series, but it's pretty damn good once it clicks.

best fallout game ever made. no wonder bethesda won't let obsidian make another fallout, they confined obsidian to a short development time and were still blown out of the water. BEAR IN MIND THIS IS NOT A DLC, IT IS A FULL STANDALONE FALLOUT GAME.

your choices matter. skill checks add another layer of depth to the dialogue, like a true RPG. skills like speech have a significant impact on the game, far beyond just getting a few extra bottlecaps.

the dialogue is creative.

it is not without its flaws, as it is the victim of a dated engine with ugly models and pretty subpar gameplay outside of VATS.

still, this is very close to my favourite game of all time, and this is the direction bethesda should've taken fallout 4 in.

obsidian, i hope you get another crack at the fallout IP but if not we will always have F:NV. get this game, commit some time to it and you will be incredibly satisfied.
