Excision is still bloody bugged after half a year now, wow.
Not only that, excision STILL requires you that you MUST have 12 people, so you can be waiting for half an hour for a run to start, and then it gets stuck at a part, rinse and repeat.

Thank god I bought it on a heavy sale.

Absolute blast to play! Even got a friend to buy it so we could have some competitive fun!

- Guardian ranks are absolutely useless as a show of achievements in any way, and the entire thing disrespects people who have done anything higher tier in this game. It has become yet another seasonal showcase instead of a proper achievement scaler.

- The story is botched in a fundamental level, on every chapter and has such niche movie tropes as if someone was trying to press a list of "most used cringey hollywood scenes" into one expansion. No explanation of the object we are searching for, no set up, no actual threat just being "told" of the things ongoing without actually communicating with our friends at home and feeling any sort of ache about getting stuck on Neomuna to get this "whatever thing" for "whatever reason". Nimbus is a disrespectful and awfully unlikeable character.
What the actual hell happened to the story?

- Neomuna is empty with a maze of pathways instead of an actual cityscape we could explore with our new grapple ability that also doesn't actually have a cooldown to make it useful as such.

- No new gambit map or any proper focus on gambit
- No new ritual activity armor
- All guns and weapons excluding the raid are copy-paste retextures, and we let that go because we thought at least this gives a leeway to the devs to take care of other stuff. Boy were we wrong.
- No Trials armor refresh
- Eververse is getting more and more ravenous every season. Prices are increased and are touted as "sales" when a season prior that "on sale" price was the new top. Constant ways to monetize the ♥♥♥♥ out of content and new armor.

Man, I bought it on a sale and I still regret spending that much on it, knowing whatever issues arise especially with the paid dungeon, they will fix 6 months later. I will be off by The Final Shape, as this seem to be a continued chain of events I no longer wish to be a part of.

PC performance in hub spaces is reaching atrocious levels since LAST YEAR but they are not acknowledging it. It's been worse and worse since crossplay was introduced and then it took a serious hit around the 30th anniversary pack.
I already regret buying the WQ Deluxe edition because the current dungeon that cost extra is incredibly bugged and despite taking our money they ONLY JUST NOW registered a single issue out of numerous ones affecting gameplay in it.

The New player experience took a nosedive and they went really cheap with the new mission that's supposed to bring in newbies. They just threw in reused assets to make an obstacle course where the moving walls literally clip through the terrain..

Probably not gonna buy the packs from now on due to all of the above. Fix the game.

HALFWAY IN THE HORROR ELEMENT AMPS UP, SEND THE KIDS AWAY FOR A BIT AT THAT POINT
(keep seeing parents getting surprised by that but yeah, that part is definitely not for kids.)

Story was incredibly sweet, cats and robots are easily two of my favorite subjects in games so this was an instant buy, the horror was a bonus for me personally. Gameplay was very nice, I adore linear story games so I got exactly what I asked for!

There were little issues here and there with the controls and the camera freaking out during cutscenes, but that could probably be due to the laptop being at "acceptable" required specs level, other than that, no issues at all!

Very, very very good game!

PS: Just-... make sure you have gifted stuff to the NPC you like the most before leaving Gran Soren for good. For the love of all that is holy or unholy. Please. PLEASE.

- Game's integrity has gone down, is still broken as all hell, glitchy and enemies are constantly teleporting.
- Still takes Bungie a billion years to fix things despite promises of faster patches, with 80% of the game's content being taken away.
- Rewards promised sometimes are not being given, Donation rewards and ingame rewards not being checked if they got awarded.
- Content is 90% reused from armor and weapons that were taken away from us. Same rolls and everything, literally want us to grind out what we already earned.
- Reused gear and weapons for Iron Banner for the third time in a row
- Absolutely overnerfing the ♥♥♥♥ out of weapons and classes, leaving others to reign without competition.
- in Gambit and Crucible people still experiencing lag and delays, motes cannot be picked up, cheaters are still abundant.

Pros

- Expansion and seasonal story is good. Story missions are good.
- Raid is absolutely bonkers, fantastic looking, fantastic mechanics.
- Raid armor looks unique, raid weapons are unique.
- The new strike is good
- New Light - aka new people introductionary quest chain has finally reached its potential after one year of it being brought in the game in the previous expansion a year before.

LOVED the story, loved the new gear and new map. Tangled shore is still one of my favourite places to go to.

I love this game to bits! I've been present- and been monitoring even the tiniest updates, ever since the earliest version released to the public. That being said, my critique is not gonna be one that is easy to brush off.

I have to say, I'm disappointed in v1.0, the majority of issues that made Beta a pain in the butt are still very prominent. I'm making a list here, but i will only do so, so the devs can learn from it.
The list presented is both true tested on an 8 years old potato - and another, 2 years old laptop, former plays it with lowest setting with difficulties, latter is able to handle the game just fine.

1: Falling through the map due to map loading issues, everything, everywhere. I don't think this should be an issue for the 2yo laptop, but i end up swimming in an unprocessed chunk of nothingness, or the accelerated speed from the light fins- through the seaglide to the prawn's increasing falling, gets me to clip through the map, especially in tight areas like the Shallow's narrow caves, or the Lost River's floor.
2: Creatures clipping through the map, connected to issue #1. Problematic with especially Warpers or the leviathan class, such as the Sea Dragon in the Active Lava Zone, allowing it to cheat ambush players due to its massive aggro range.
3: Power transmitter glitches. I'm unsure if they have been nerfed or their range is depending on the biome's layout, but somehow i find it weird how i have to build 7 transmitters nearby a base for it to reach from one side to the other 6m-s away, but as soon as i remove the last rod, it starts transmitting power to 2kms away, into the nothingness. (i actually checked where it goes to, it literally went nowhere.)
4: Teleporters. Connected to issue #1, as well as the point that the player can be damaged while loading in the next area, allowing the cave crawlers the possibility to kill you.
5: Interaction animations with Ion and Artifact terminals. Ion cube floating mid-air, and Artifact disappearing from hand.
6: PRAWN getting stuck on even the smallest mushrooms, having trouble climbing up hills, causing it to glitch out in its step.

These are what i found as the biggest issues that i feel should have been paid more attention to, mainly due to the fact that some of these, especially the map clippings, have been there since roughly 2 years ago, and were mentioned loads of times by even youtubers.

But i wish to finish this off with the part that i have also noticed several decent changes in the game as well, from the options to have a lot more variety of settings, the storyline actually making it a necessity to explore, the additional- and changed voice actings, the quality of the updated sounds, the behavioral changes in the warpers and how it affects them whether you are diseased or cured, the improved textures, and the ending, holy crap the ending..
due to all of these things receiving such a level of attention, i will say: I highly recommend this game, to everyone.

Signing off: A huge fan, as well as a person with a massive hydrophobia, who decided to build in the hostile Deep Grand Reef right next to a Ghost Leviathan, several Crabsquids and 3 angry Warpers, because "it would make the game more fun".

For years of encountering pictures and videos about this game, I thought it would just be a generic dragon killing experience. It is much more than that, and I came to realize that a little too late, but that's okay. With modding, it is even better and much more fun, but the vanilla experience all by itself was worth the time spent in this universe!
