So, this game goes by faaast. that is pretty cool.

wanna know what isn't cool?

EVERY SINGLE BUG that was in ARK:SURVIVAL EVOLVED is also present in ARK:SURVIVAL ASCENDED.

the devs, and the publisher, do not give a crap about any of us, butt hey do love our money. Being as such, they want us to spend it. but they won't do anything to make the game better. they've had a number of years to fix ARK... and the time for patience with them is UP at this point. the modding community has done great things. However, we shouldn't have to rely upon the modding community to fix what's obviously broken.

Your mothers would roll in their grave to see you being okay with this.

there's a massive amount of bugs, and only four or five characters even get voice actors throughout the game.
level cap is 50.
most of the map is not something you're going to explore.
AND OH! the mainsstory doesn't get past level 25 or so.


and then there's the mass amount of bugs, toxic discord community where even the moderators harass you and refuse to properly police the disrespect and harassment coming from people on the server... just avoid this game and developer.

it seems really good for streaming and I'd say you should grab this game. hwoever, LONG queues to log intot he game, and the fact that KIDS play this game means that 1. YA'LL GET YOUR KIDS OFF OF THIS GAME. and 2. WE'RE NOT YOUR FREAKING PARENTS. YOU SHOULD'VE KNOWN AND EXPECTED MORE PEOPLE TO WANT TO PLAY. DAILY. SHEESH

FAR too toxic, abusive ans bhvr, the developer and manager - do absolutely NOTHING about it. reports do nothing, threats do nothing - I've been harassed and stalked IRL by people that got upset with me in these matches.

if you go killer? no matter how you play they call you a tunneler or camper, if you're a survivor - you're always toxic. I don't care anymore. I'm going to be the meanest killer (in this game) anybody has seen.

anyone who sandbags, teabags, or is toxic to me in any way is going to be hit on hook until I'm satisfied

sO, RXDRED CALLED ME AND I QUOTE "♥♥♥♥♥♥" and told me to kill myself, calling me a motherFcker numerous times, and did nothing but verbally harass me, and one of my friends the ENTIRE. GAME. after I went and defending HER from their onslaught of vicious attacks.

then they jumped on me for having TTV in my name. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I'm gonna go ahead and say that, WORLD MAKERS, if you can't freaking moderate a video game and handle accounts like this? you've no place on steam.

this game made me cry. it was gifted to me by a fellow streamer and.. I played it for christmas eve. I had to beat it all in one sitting. there were "Aww this is so cute and this character is SO freaking adorable <3" moments, shortly followed by "WHAT IN THE F. no child should be thinking, feeling, or saying that kind of stuff!" and then shortly by "oh.. no. oh god no. please god no.." and then... "...i'm not crying. you're the one that's crying." moments.

I want to say that this game HAD NO FREAKING BUSINESS BEING LIKE THIS! but also, it was very, very nice to have a game be something that so many other games are afraid of being; Good. to the devs: thank you for putting the timein to code the game. tot he artists; thank you for illustrating the game. tot he writer?: You.. Ba- no, really, I loved this. you hurt me with this. but it was seriously good. it touched the heart and soul. thank you. next time though, can we go out for dinner before breaking me down like that? LOL

definitely 10/10 game here folks. buy it, you won't be sorry that you bought it.

When I bought this game, in january/february 2020, it was a great game with great graphics. I WAS ASTOUNDED AND EXCITED TO PLAY! I absolutely LOVE space based games and exploration - this game REALLY tickled my craving for exploration and wonderment - I was excited.

By June, I was quitting the game, uninstalling really, due to Toxic squadrons and groups that FDEV encourage to be toxic - Lsavigny's Legion to be exact is one of them, as is The Fatherhood. Come to find out, new player slavery (that was all over the news a couple months ago) was already being done by Lavigny's Legion and select people of The Fatherhood.

FDEV says they deal with toxicity, with harassment of players but they don't. they encourage these larger groups to continue - why? maybe due to the roleplay value, there is that. However it pushes people away from the game.

THAT Couple with how they've destroyed graphics - i.e. planet generation going from DEEPLY mystifying and exciting with shapes, crevasses, and exploration value... to flat nothings. low-resolution flat nothings. They've been ignoring players and will seemingly continue to. For this, I'm not recommending this game.

Rest In Peace Elite:Dangerous, you were amazing up until Odyssey, I will miss the hours I've spent exploring you and being amazed and excited to continue playing.

OHHH MAN, and now they've made this pay to win? LOL you made your CEO a gacha dude and honestly screwed this game up even more.

What I dislike comes first:
- People adamantly stating that there is a competitive ladder. There is no competitive ladder, there ar eno accounts to this game yet (they're working on it currently) and once there are I am sure they WILL implement a ranking system. People like competition.
-not enough 'skins'
-no seasonal 'skins' or outfits.
-Randoms (general public) LEAVING THE GAME AS SOON AS THEY ARE KILLED/EJECTED! STOP DOING THIS! ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE AN IMPOSTER!

seriously. jesus christ.

What I like:
- Being able to take my frustration out on my friends. Toying with them into false senses of security, allowing them to think I am keeping them safe. When in reality, I'm just waiting for the moment to strike!
-murder sprees where people IRL don't actually die.
-the hates are pretty nice.
-building up trust in this game.
-using logic to outwit potential imposters.

Overall, spend the five dollars or so. it's actually a pretty good game.

Sadly, ZENIMAX runs customer service and in-game moderation for this game. They've let people get their real lives threatened and even people be doxxed without doing anything. this is some scary and horrible stuff.

gameplay is always changing too because of the amount of glitches that get added with every patch.
for the story though? this game is fantastic. really amazing.
