This has come a long way, its a very playable Battlefield game that frequently goes on sale for less than $5 and at that price I would recommend grabbing this. The unlock system for weapons can be annoy in the sense that it often makes you use other weapons that you might not normally ever use, like having to use a certain SMG to unlock another pistol or whatnot. Still, a very playable and enjoyable Battlefield experience as of writing.

Grabbed this during a free trial period and I can confirm this game is still a huge mess. After installing, I had to re-launch the game 6 times to get it to load and launch anything at all, (never mind the issues I had with the HORRIBLE EA app) and then when it finally did launch it just played the intro cinematic on a loop. This isn't even worth $20 and that makes me sad to say. Save your money and let the Battlefield franchise die the death it clearly deserves.

Early Access Review
If you're in the market for yet another unfinished generic early access survival game with zombies that teleport around and behind you, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ players that constantly kill on sight, framerates that randomly drop from 60 to 20, and an extremely cumbersome and complicated eating system, then this is the game for you!

Developer response:
"...we still have a long way to go and it's barely been a year and a half since the EA release."

Well you mook developers, it's been 5 years now and guess what? Your game is still a busted piece of crap, it's still in early access and you now have $135 worth of DLC. You guys are a pathetic joke and as far as I am concerned, thieves. Fix your fundamental issues and finish the game before selling $135 of crappy DLC.

Got another response D1nosaur?

Screwed over, that's literally all I can say. The developers jumped ship and straight abandoned this game. I can't recommend this to anyone because of that.

Early Access Review
Rust. There's nothing to say that hasn't already been said about this game. So what I'll do instead is just give my own personal opinion of the game. Rust is one of my favourite games of all time. It's a game that combines so many different elements of gameplay and interactions into a well presented and executed package that always keeps me coming back for more. Building your base and trying to protect it and your loot from raiders can be one of the most terrifying and exciting experiences in any video game. I could go on for hours about the different aspects of Rust that I love, but then we'd be here for hours. So I'll just say this; If you enjoy base building and survival type games, I can almost guarantee that you will enjoy Rust.

DO NOT PURCHASE

This game has literally been abandoned by the developers, no more bug fixes, no more content. This is a complete waste of money, go buy something else. I will personally never be purchasing another game by Double Fine or involving Tim Schaffer again.

It's like the guy played Harvest Moon and was like, "Yeah. I could do that better."
