Good, unique Indiana Jones-esque puzzle/adventure VR game obviously most notable for the unique locomotion system where all movement is done on foot around your playspace. This leads to some cool moments where you physically dodge around obstacles/traps, though I admit I found the "roller" movement a bit overused and slightly tedious sometimes. The small Metroidvania-esque world is also pretty well-constructed. Around 5 hours long and I think I'll go back and get the hidden collectibles I seem to have missed, which apparently have the best puzzles in the game. I definitely would be happy to play a bigger, longer game like this.

Early Access Review
Gave this a shot because of the deep discount and recently seeing a bunch of extreme mountain biking videos that I'd be too pansy to try in real life. This game is quite well made and riding a bike feels relatively convincing (outside of not actually needing to pedal). A particular shoutout to the controller haptics which are very well-implemented for different surfaces (you can clearly tell when you're biking over wood). It also has a good amount of adrenaline-inducing narrow/high-speed tracks which fulfilled my interest in replicating those extreme mountain biking videos.

There isn't that much content as is (~14 or so race/time trials tracks and maybe ~10 challenge tracks, all of which are 1-2 minutes long), but I can see myself getting a few more hours out of it in its current state trying to get better trial times and complete the challenges.

If this game was more popular, I think it would have huge potential for user-created tracks to add more replayability.

A short (3-4 hour long), but well executed and polished VR Resident Evil-like. Definitely nails the survival horror feeling of planning out your next move on the map, trying to avoid enemies while dreading your ammo count getting lower and lower. I found the controls a bit frustrating at times, but I guess messing up dodging and reloads while a monster is right in front of your face contributes to the horror atmosphere. The ending is a blatant cliffhanger, so it would be great if they made a sequel with twice the length (I'd definitely pay $40 for it or more depending on the content).

Also respect to the devs as this is one of the few multiplat (released on Quest simultaneously) games where you can't really tell if they had to compromise visuals for the Quest, it looks very good in PCVR with super-sharp textures and glistening gory detail on zombies and other monsters.

Kudos to the devs for this. Its already an impressive VR historical experience/guided tour on the castle grounds alone, but my mind was blown when I realized it also had a fully explorable medieval reenactment of the entire Guildford town with a beautiful 24-hour weather system.

6 years late to this one, but the mix of cel-shaded graphics and 2d animated cartoon characters is very pleasant looking in VR. Would have liked to see longer experiences like this.

Played beginning to end in VR with the UEVR injector mod.

Very immersive slice-of-life in a 1980s Soviet apartment (especially in VR). The narrative takes a while to reveal itself but the payoff is very worth it, especially knowing this is based on a true story. Definitely worth experiencing.

A very solid, polished VR parkour platformer. The core gameplay mechanics are simple, but the level design is quality. There's a gameplay twist in each new "world" of levels to keep you on your toes. There are 12 worlds that took me around ~4-5 hours to beat on a first run, and importantly, there's a LOT of potential replayability. Each level has challenges for collectibles, speed runs, minimum jumps, meaning you can get a lot of this game if you want to. Overall, the game is easy to pickup but hard to master, which is a sign of well-designed gameplay in my book.

If you enjoy VR platformers and the feeling of getting sweaty palms when you need to nail that last jump for a level, I'd definitely recommend this game.

I will say that although I liked this game, I'd call it good, but not great/amazing. I find the core gameplay mechanic to be a bit too simplistic to be really adrenaline-pumping, and the level design, although good, isn't as creative or diverse compared to my favorite game in this genre, To The Top.

One of, if not the most, impressively produced VR "short film"/experiences I've seen. We take a journey through a man's mind and are immersed not only in the historical memories of his family during the Cambodian genocide, but also how he comes to terms with his past on a spiritual level. Coming across experiences like this always remind me how unexplored and underutilized VR is as a narrative art form.

Note that the game seems to by default only works for Meta devices, but you can add the "-HMD=OpenXR" launch option to get it working with other headsets (I needed to add this for my Beyond + Index knuckles to work). Also, performance was rough even on my 4090, but I lived with it.

Impressively produced historical VR experience. I knew absolutely nothing about the topic but felt like I was transported straight to 1927 Germany. Very immersive use of ambient noise and dialogue, and the scale of the theatre itself was remarkable to experience.

Well worth the cheap sale price I paid for it. It definitely is an adrenaline... rush, particularly in my Pimax 8KX with 160 hFOV and 120hz, which has an amazing sense of speed and scale. The game is nowhere near as fun in my typical "binocular FOV" headsets.
