Not worth spending time on as a free game, not worth spending money on as a paid game. Don't let me hours fool you, I'm well into the thousands across D1 and D2 across PC and Xbox. Bungie are greedy and charge too much money for what should be £20 DLC at most. The PC port is the worst of all the versions, less stable than even last gen consoles at times. The game runs bad on good hardware and okay on bad hardware. Bungie have no PC port development team and can't optimise to save their lives, since leaving Activision the game has ran worse and worse. I hope the game gets good again some day, but right now it's a HARD no from me.

Not yet. This game is great there's no denying it.
I do however think you should really consider buying it before you do.

Performance while not unplayable is very poor, especially on the current recommended requirements.
Server performance is also very flaky which adds to the poor client end performance.

Sure if you have a 4690k and a 1080ti then you'll get better performance however you will still observe massive frame drops.

The game and gameplay are really good however and surprisingly addictive however with only one map and a handful of weapons the experience does get repetitive fast.

I will revise my review once the game has left eary access (if it ever does, as is the fate with many early access games) however for now I wouldn't recommend it to the average consume who's scrolling through steam.

Look at my hours. I loved this game but honestly I wouldn't recommend you buy it. Not now at least anyway. I play it with the hopes of it getting better but over this last year it's just grown worse and worse and worse. The european servers, for one, are toxic and if you're in europe then I certainly hope you have friends to play it with otherwise you will not enjoy it. The updates valve make are often meaningless and pointless and, at times, game breaking. This game was fine mid 2015 which is when I started playing heavily but right now. Buy source.
