The definitive S.W.A.T simulator. Intense scenarios require planing, strategy, teamwork and quick decision-making in order to succeed. Patches provide constant improvements to gameplay systems and the devs are dedicated to keeping the game as authentic as possible. The game is at it's best when played in a LAN party with friends.

One of the best co-op games out there.

A great thing about it is that it gets free content updates (seasons).
It has a battlepass aswell, but no microtransactions except the cosmetics you can find on the store page (no limited time bs).
This games deserves respect for the business model alone.

As for the game itself, it's a class based co-op dungeoncrawler featuring randomly generated caves with special properties according to the biome. It may be simple at first glance, but at higher difficulties this game gets very intense and your strategy for dealing with the hordes of enemies need to be on point in order for you to survive and complete the mission. The game can get repetitive for sure, but after some time passes I find myself returning to it for a quality multiplayer experience.

If you're looking for a FPS to play with some friends, this might be the game for you.

If you like Quake 1 and 2, you'll love this. It's a classic FPS and comes with the traits associated with these titles. Weapon, Health and Armor pickups scattered in decent sized levels ranging from good to amazing level design with many secrets to uncover. Each Episode features new types of enemies and a unique boss according to it's theme, keeping things fresh. Even though the textures are low rez and the models lack polygons, the amazing artstyle and sometimes downright beautiful levels make more than up for it. One of the best shooters i ever played. Can't wait for the DLC to release.

If you ignore the fact that it is based on the Terminator IP, it turns into a subpar Survival game. I personally am not bothered with the graphics (People hwo say this looks like a PS3 game need to turn their Consoles back on or get their eyes checked imo), but the janky animations and A.I completely destroy my immersion. I tried mods to fix it, but they didn't really help. I wish i could love this game since I love T1 and T2, but sadly I can't. The only thing I really like is the infiltrator mode. However this mode alone is not worth the money i paid (20 bucks on sale) so I requested a refund. Maybe I'll pick this up later down the line when it's cheap.

It's basically in early access and still needs a year or 2 in the oven. If they keep up with the fixes and add the promised features, it will become one of the greatest games of all time. IF.

EDIT:

New DLC Patch mostly fixed all of my issues. It's a bit suttery when loading a new level, but after that the game runs smooth now (Some small hiccups here and there, but nothing gamebreaking like before). I can definetively recommend the game now.

Old review:
I was waiting to play this until further performance updates for RTX. I started the game today to test the DLSS update, just to discover that performance is horrible now, doesn't matter if RTX is activated or not. Stutters all over the place. This is a great game, but in it's current state i can't recommend it.

It's basicially CS:GO VR. If that sounds amazing to you, get it.

Finally was able to get in a match and actually play the game. Silly fun, especially with friends.

Still best hat-based murder simulator out there 9.643/10
