An absolutely fun co-op survival story experience like no other. This game has got to be my favorite co-op game yet. As of this review I've spent 65.1 hours in this game with my brothers.

In Abiotic Factor you play as a researcher employed at GATE labs (basically Black Mesa/SCP Foundation). Things go to hell and you must find a way to escape the facility by progressing the story, crafting, looting, farming, cooking managing hunger and thirst, wearing equipment and using weapons for the right task at hand, and of course leveling up your character's stats. At the start of the game you get to choose perks or downsides your character will have for the rest of the game.

There are some bugs/weird behaviors as this game is still in beta, but nothing game breaking has happened so far. It's overall a very enjoyable and immersive experience for me. I highly suggest you try this game out yourself with a group of friends or alone for an extra challenge!

A shell of its former self

Unique, "spore-like" game. The creatures are all beautiful and produce the most exquisite sounds imaginable.

Awesome game. It's similar to Lethal Company.

Tedious to navigate UI and a bug that's easy to mistakingly preform which refills an empty coconut when placed into a coconut pile.

Devs canned the game xd

Could've been a great game. I do enjoy the gunplay when FPS is high (110+). OH YEAH, LOOTBOXES XD

♥♥♥♥♥♥ asset flip. Just a small empty map and no reason to replay the same level.

dank gucci game

It's a lot more short than the original game, and isn't as memorable. There's only 5 effects in this game and a lot less levels, compared to the 23 or so effects and a lot of levels in the original. Uboa is only a jumpscare, and that space piano dude is not in the game to my knowledge. Unlike the original game, this one is a lot more about puzzles and platforming, has less exploration, and isn't cryptic at all like the original was. For a Yume Nikki fan, I'm disappointed, especially for 20 dollars.
