It's a damn good game. Difficult, painful, but incredibly rewarding.

A lot like factorio but still completely unique and a whole lot more relaxing. It's focus is exclusively on factory building and the building itself is extremely polished.

No game has made me feel such strong feelings of fear, triumph, and intrigue in years. If you want to play vr (and don't have a weak heart) Half-Life: Alyx is a must play.

Astroneer is a game of exploration and expansion. The planets manage to be incredibly hostile with one core mechanic. The lack of oxygen.

As you expand you will make a network of oxygen tethers that you can use to find your way and provide air to survive no matter the conditions. Part of your expansion is the ability to tarraform anything. See a mountain too steep to climb? Make a tunnel through it. A ravine to big to jump across? Build a bridge. Traversal will be further aided by a plethora of useful tools, vehicles, and machines.

The ability to build and change anything in any way is Astroneers greatest strength. By putting an entire outpost into small canisters and unloading it on an entirely different planet with new resources and terrain is truly magical.
