Very cinematic, wish there was more to do for endgame.

Easily the greatest single player story campaign ever made, remastered and remade in peak fidelity for PC. The Last of Us Part 1 spares no expense in capturing everything that made the original Last of Us great and delivering it in stunning 4-8k, while upgrading it's controls, audio design, models and engine. Everything, from the writing, to the acting, the environment and level design, and even the audio narration and accessibility options exist on a whole different level compared to every other game like it out there.
If you've got the equipment to run it, it doesn't get much better than this.

This game is fantastic, by far where MGOTG shines is the story and dialogue, it has a well written story that flows extremely smoothly, and there's a piece of unique dialogue for almost every action and section in the entire game. As a fan of the Marvel movies, it honestly feels like they threw a few films worth of dialogue and story into one game, and each character and piece of dialogue is really well written and voice acted. The gameplay is surprisingly engaging with the team control mechanics really making a difference in fights, and the exploration format definitely makes the game feel more interactive. Honestly worth the buy at full price.

Edit: After a bit more playtime, this game is still very buggy, particularly in the main menu/save loading section. The game launches properly maybe 1/4 of the time, and even then it's a gamble to load a save without crashing. Buyer beware.

One of the only community-building survival horror games out there. You get to make your mini-society within a zombie apocalypse, and see how long you can survive. Kind of a niche genre, to be fair, but the devs manage this game very well, and are constantly updating it with new content. Worth the price.

To launch Mass Effect, you must log in, connect to, and download the EA Origin launcher. This launcher will lag, take several minutes to startup, will fail to connect, and sometimes refuse to launch your game altogether. This abhorrent practice makes it much harder to play a game that a) you already bought b) is already available to launch from a better platform, Steam, and c) forces you to download additional software that you DID NOT sign up for, all because they want to push their sub-standard platforms instead of Steam. I've spent hours in the origin launcher just waiting and trying over and over to boot up Mass Effect LE (among other games), which is a singleplayer game mind you, because of EA's spaghetti coding. It is unnecessary, annoying, and a despicable practice. Buyer beware.

Play it for yourself instead of listening to all the salty naysayers yeah? Perfectly great game if you don't play like a robot, and expect some life-altering experience.

Fantastic game gated by 15 minutes to load the "Rockstar Social Club Launcher". If it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ single player game, don't make me wait 15 minutes just so I can play singleplayer. I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about Multiplayer, and I should only have to load into the useless "social club" if I wanted to play it.
Edit: 30 minutes to load. What I usually do is start loading 30 minutes before I want to play and hope to god that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rockstar servers are being stupid.

I don't know what the idea behind the gunplay is but it sucks. Guns don't feel impactful, shots register half a second after you shoot, and you have to press 2 different buttons consecutively in order to ADS, first you have bring up the gun, then aim, then ADS. The equipment system is garbage, you'll have to use all 9 number keys to use all of your tools, which is always accompanied with fumbling keys. Equally terrible pay->win scenarios where players can just unlock higher tier weapons and hunters with money. And almost everything in the game is locked behind a progression system, where multiple games might level you up once, with most of the good weapons at levels 60 and above, unless you pay that is. Also terrible Oceania/Asian servers with constant lag and ping issues.

About an 8 hour campaign to finish one run of the story including watching the series, the game focuses on having a great story, which at times is incredible and others a serious let-down. While the story in the game works, watching the series will make the story MUCH better. The game is also pretty detached from the series though, and certain game events ended up ruining the ending of the series for me. Worth playing for fun, don't get too invested in the story.

You can also write a review for this game to INCREASE your max capacity (Grand Prix Summer Sale anyone?).
Tbh, actually interesting once you spend a bit of time exploring while drinking soda. Tho casual mode seems hard still.
