This game is so incredibly filled with cheaters it's near impossible to have a pleasurable experience playing it.

I have been playing Counter-Strike for ~20 years, on and off. And I've had really good times in it.

But,

the current state is the absolute WORST I have ever seen.

The reason why, is because the game was free for too long, which allowed an immense amount of cheaters to go wild for a year or so. Now the player base is infested with kids that just can't handle a loss and resort to cheating instead. And it just feeds itself in a loop which creates more and more cheaters because no one have the patience to actually practice and get good etc.

Now the game has some kind of a mini paywall to be able to be played competitively. But I would not even go there, since it's the same. The cheats are so advanced 2021 as well, can't be picked up by VAC at all and just breeze through the process.

If this game would cost 50€ or more, I guarantee at least 80% of the cheats would be gone and the players that get caught wouldn't just instantly be able to buy a new account/make a new account because it would actually hurt their poor financial state a bit. But one can only dream.

If you have other games to play, play other games.

Or, try your luck at being no-scoped by a flying scout man that aces your entire team in 5 bullets, EVERY round.
