Everhood is hard to put into words. On a gameplay level, it offers a very addicting bullet hell/ rhythm game that only gets better the farther you go. On a story level, it is beyond words. The story to Everhood seems intriguing at first, some may even draw parallels to a game like Undertale. However, the more you explore this intoxicating universe, the more you realize this game offers messages and perspectives no other video game quite pulls off. It is critical to go into this game with little to no knowledge of whats to come. Other than this, Everhood requires no barrier of entry, not even experience with bullet hells or rhythm games as the game offers a vast variety of difficulties for the player to choose from.
