Love the game decided to come back after seeing a video on bandit starts. Unfortunately they added aim assist to mouse and keyboard. At first I was like "alright i'll take the L and turn it off". You can't turn it off. Might check in again if the option comes back.

For better for worse I've fallen in love with this game and hope this review helps you enjoy what I enjoyed when playing pugs and ranked matches when I was a bit more active playing the game. Also all the skins and things like that have gone free to play which means there's no premium currency and you can earn everything just by playing which is awesome sauce.

The game play is solid with excellent gun play and movement no complaints here. The maps on the other hand are optimized towards there being two teams of 5 players. Unfortunately the likelihood of playing in a 5v5 setting is very low with the removal of a in client ranked system which was replaced by a 3rd party ranked system called Faceit. Faceit is very much so an upgrade from the prier ranked system offering a pick and ban feature for everything from the map you play to the mercenaries available to choose from when putting your team together making the game feel more competitive and fun. This all falls flat when you see how it was integrated into the game with a panel/link found in the play menu that redirects you to the faceit website where you'll have to make an account and link it to your steam account to play. Just the fact you have to leave the game you just downloaded and set up something out of game to play as intended is annoying to say the least and for a newer player just trying the game out for the first time. What i believe should've happened during the integration was to make faceit apart of the game when you download the game as well as the faceit anti-cheat with a faceit login screen to pop up when you click the panel and the ability to create an account from inside the game to make it more accesable and available to all the players who install the game. That being said its unlikely to happen due to the game no longer receiving updates right after release. So if you want to play Dirty Bomb download faceit and stay in the match que until a match pops and while you wait join a quick match or search for a server with good ping and play there while you wait. In conclusion the faceit integration could've been allot better but you'll have to go to face it and do everything yourself to play the game as intended.
