George is an ordinary guy with a not-so-ordinary problem: he has trouble breathing and even more trouble staying out of things he doesn’t understand. When he stumbles into a high-tech facility, he’s mistakenly assigned to operate the Fent Reactor—a powerful, mysterious energy source with unclear (and possibly dangerous) properties.

Completely unqualified and wildly unprepared, George is thrust into a situation where he's expected to save the day… or at least not accidentally blow it all up. Through awkward encounters, confused directions, and some very questionable decisions, George tries to figure out what the Fent Reactor really is—and what it’s doing to him.

Part sci-fi satire, part dark metaphor, the story mixes humor, absurdity, and a hint of tragedy as George becomes something more than human—but maybe not in the way he hoped.
