I love the atmosphere and the look of this game. Just too bad there are so few people who still play, and usually they are never online at the same time. Come on folks, it's a free, excellent game, try it out!

Also, fighting against the bots is actually fun and challenging.

I love the atmosphere of this game. The background, the world-building is pretty much top notch for a metalhead like me. I can state right now, that if the world of Brütal Legend would be the world I'd be spending my afterlife in, I... I would love it! Actually, if it came to a battle of preferences, it would be a tough choice between Valheim and Brütal Legend.

Sure, the game mechanics could be better (the controls of the car and the character are a bit too fidgety for my taste). The controls could do with a bit of adjustment. The RTS-type portions are a drag since I'm more interested in advancing the overarching story. But the overall feeling of the game, the atmosphere, the world... I. Just. Freaking. Love. It.

The game is both infuriating and fun, both at the same time. The tracks are often really hard to figure and hard to master, but the process is fun, even though I'm usually the slowest racer.

At first, playing Verdun seems really chaotic. You get shot in the head without even seeing the enemy. But then again, that captures the chaos of WWI quite well. Playing further, you start to slowly get better at the game, spotting enemy silhouettes from further away, and recognizing the different uniforms when they suddenly appear in front of you in your trenches.

Make no mistake, you will keep dying, a lot. But it'll be fun, unlike the real thing.
