Okay since a few people think I should probably back up my review with actual supports, here goes.


First of all, the game started dying when they removed tiers. Without tiers, there is just no real progression. Yeah, there's still Roboranking, but it doesn't feel like progression as much as it does as just a rank for your robot. You make a bot, it will stay at X rank probably. You make another bot, and that will also stay at X rank. You don't really take a bot through the higher levels of play anymore.
Loot boxes are trash. Literally the worst part of the game. Oh you want a wheel? Good luck finding a loot box with one. Oh and did I mention some items in the loot box are premium locked? Yeah. So chances are, it'll be locked out anyway. Want to actually buy the wheel instead? Well there's no currency. You heard me right, there's no currency besides galaxy cash which you have to pay for with real money. There is robobits or whatever, but you only get them by recycling parts you have already. So good luck with that.
Weapons weapons weapons, so many broken weapons. There's literally a weapon that locks on to any target and destroys it, requiring 0 skill whatsoever. There's too many weapons too. Having an SMG, a Sniper, and a Shotgun like weapon was fine. But then they added all of these other weapons that are too expensive in Robobits or whatever for a F2P player to even buy. Games that are F2P, should reward you for putting some money into the game, but not making the game unplayable if you don't.
Honestly if this game just put tiers back, removed loot boxes, and removed all those broken weapons, maybe I'd give it a good review. But the developers have gone super greedy and desperate for this game to succeed, if not evident by the loot boxes, look at how many times they've payed Yogscast to play their game. They are desperate for money and players.


TL:DR; Game used to be good, isn't anymore.

Edit: Seems like they are removing the loot boxes and adding the tiers and tech tree back!!! I cannot wait and once it's done I'll probably change my review to positive. I'm so excited I've already started playing again even though it hasn't been changed completely yet.
