Best fighting game you can get today and probably for a long time. A love letter to the community.

Just wish we had more OG characters (Balrog, Vega, Sagat, Birdie, Sakura, Rose...) arriving before SNK guests. Still it's a 10/10.

Sample of what happens when marketing team "designs" a game. Plenty of pointless perks, quantity over quality.

Terrible, rushed maps, unoptimized and they want to to extort some extra $$$ on a season pass with little to no content. What a joke.

Finally smelled the game. Recommended.

Imagine a small team got their hands on a game engine with a bunch of monetization tools to manage cosmetics, battle passes, achievements, in game purchases...

Well, all of these features above are l there and apparently working fine. But the game around it used as an excuse to sell digital goods is still not done.

Get killed by naked dudes with pans with people around watching and playing the mandolin.

It's a solid fighting game with rollback netcode, which means a lot for those looking forward to play online.

A good game if you're new to fighting games and looking to playing against other newcomers, otherwise it might be a bit hard to "adapt" coming from japanese fighters. Why? Dial-up combos and stiff controls which are designed for gamepads, not fightsticks. Hitboxes can be really bad at times and there's not much "variety" despite the big roster, most characters play like the same. Seasoned FGC player won't find much novelty here.

Also, this game loves to waste your time: throw animations are so long you can stop to hydrate yourself, maybe even use the washroom if it's not too far. Fatalities are unskippable. Big part of the experience in this game is in watching... And it gets really boring after you've seen all these animations a bazillion times.

The kids complaining about "grinding" are just entitled hoarders who want to unlock each and every unlockable cosmetic in 5 hours of play, then complain there's nothing more to do cause they already tried out all masks/dresses/bracelets combination on their Ninja Barbie minigame.
