I'm a little obsessed with this game. A lot of my playtime is spent sneaking around and planning my escape, but nothing beats the thrill of a successful robbery (like stealing the antagonist's car without a single person noticing). The base game has a ton of buildings to explore, each with a unique layout, and the tenants don't always follow their usual schedules, which is a combination that makes for simultaneously frustrating, yet exciting, adventures. There are extra seasonal goodies, too, like Christmas gifts you can steal/sell. Apparently one of the homes is haunted around Halloween; I haven't gotten to experience this one yet, but I'm looking forward to it! Once I finish robbing everyone out of house and home, I'll have some fun digging into the DLCs.

I've tried out the sequel, but I keep coming back to the original because it has a charm that simply can't be replicated. I just love how clunky it feels. And my favorite homes are the haunted ones, by far! (It's cool that they come with an option to break the curse upon entry, but I have no plans to use it on purpose because the ghosts are what I'm here for.) Maybe one day I'll manage to sell a house to every NPC...
