181 hours later, I have completed my first playthrough.

Elden Ring is the penultimate Souls game. It takes everything that made all of From's previous Souls games and improves them, putting them all into the same game.

It's not perfect. Lategame is rough. Enemies hit harder than they ever have. The game is long, the world is vast and packed with content. The story and lore are also incredibly deep and interesting.

Despite its faults and the rough initial PC port, it has improved since.

Elden Ring is one of my favorite games that i've ever played now.

EDIT: My review stands after the release of Shadow of the Erdtree. It isn't too hard, one just has to explore and find the right items to become strong enough to handle the enemies and bosses - of which the final boss is without a doubt the most difficult of the DLC.
