its.. fun for a little while, then its stops being fun, and becomes a massive repetitive grind, that does not feel rewarding in any ways.
yes i understand they would need to pad the game time some with the limited content the game have for now, but my goodness what a frustrating and boring way they have used, making it look like a huge pay to skip cash grab then anything else.

This game.. is not new player friendly.
if you are a player like me, who have little to no experience in the previous games in this series, i would not recommend this game as it is now.
after 2 hours of batteling a few bugs
(like getting launched off the docking platform at mach speed while trying to complete map trade tutorial, locked in "waiting for trade to process" and unable to move ship, cancle or do anything but restart)
several restarts because of said bugs and general confusion trying to figure out what i should do next, i just gave up. so new players, i would not recommend you try this game, yet.
i also sat with a feeling the entire time that the game didnt feel complete, and the UI was bothersome and clunky at best.

if you are an existing X series player, and know whats up, you might find this game quite enjoyable, i did have some fun after all for the short time things actually went as planned, like shooting random criminals around stations in starting systems.

well.. where to start, many of the other reviews covers what im about to say.
i now have 1.5h in this game, and im yet to get past 2nd story mission.
-loadscreens are long, really long.
-gameplay is a bit clunky, specially mellee, feels slightly unresponsive, with weird timing delays on heavy attacks which usually gets you nommed on.
-AI what can i say... both incredible dumb.. and a real real real pain in the behind.
-missions bug out
-you are left to RNG when joining a group in regards to your ping, and lag. (there are weird lagspikes also in solo)
-going solo is.. frustrating more then enjoyable, some people might enjoy this challenge, i dont.

so as of now, i can not recommend this game, im gonna stop playing for a bit, and give it 1.5 week to try do something
and if not this is a refund for me.

EDIT: i can add i did not play the beta, but from the beta photage i have seen on youtube etc. the game actually seemed to work better in beta then it does now after release.

EDIT2: there is currently also no host migration, so if the host has poor internet, RIP your progress
and VOIP is currently bugged, and dont work.

So, i have finally played long enough that i feel i can give somewhat of a review.
This game is why i miss Steam not having a in between of recommend and not recommend, sort of like a "meh" button.
because thats mostly what i feel about this game.
Its not a bad game, the launch was hairy, there are quite a few bugs running rampant, although nothing game breaking i have run in to so far, still annoying, like missing tooltips for certain psyker warp annomalies.

some of the effect descriptions for perks are written in horrible not understandable ways, making it unclear what the effect actually is.

gameplay itself is sort of slow and grindy, and i didnt really feel much progress untill i got my psyker to rank 13, and a whole new world opened up.. where the missions are now faster, not as tedious and overall more enjoyable.

graphics are so and so, optimization is something to be desired, as larger maps and larger ammounts of enemies tend to drop my FPS from 60 to 40-50 and stutter occur.. at not highest settings even.

in despite of this,im giving this a thumbs up, mostly because i believe it can get better and want to see where they take this. and because i actually do enjoy playing it quite a bit. but its a very very very weak thumbs up, due to lack of middle option.

EDIT: i forgot about the story.. story is good, enough said.

So.. eve online.. the game that ruins your real life, and apparently lables you as trash of humanity in the eyes of other people.. and other eve players!
this game is a rough ride.. but i have honestly never played a more engaging a better game. (and rage inducing)

its a ok free to play game, i have seen worse, so give it a try and think for yourself..
though if you are EU.. NEVER make your character on the seadrift server.. a server so plagued, sick, and bedridden (dead) as that one, i can honestly say i have never seen...

being on the lower end of the GPU scale when it comes to this game, i dont get out the full prettyness of the enviroment that others would get, but im still in love with it.
this game just draws me in, the dynamic weather, nature... so good.
when it comes to gameplay, i dont have any major complaints either.. there could really be some tweaks here and there for a tiny bit smoother gameplay at times, the game should also have some way of not allowing you to accidentally destroy certain quest items...

you might jump in to the wild hunt first time thinking about this huge massive world they have been speaking off.. and find that lacking in the first tutorial zone.. which it is.. that place is tiny! compared to other areas.. so dont despair.

the story.. is good, im usually not to much of a story person, but ive stopped and listened to this story for once... some cut scenes are to drawn out and long for my taste.. but hey, its not a big deal.

This game.. well... what should i say.. the first thing that met me was the most insane graphical glitches i have ever seen in any released game ever, including early release game.
the ground is gone, clothes and weapons floating in thin air with no character models filling them, characters missing faces, very laggy spell effects and such as well on certain skills...
also had a few random crashes.
this game need a really big cleanup and polishing before i could call it decent.
