Fallout: New Vegas is an exciting RPG set in a desolate environment not unlike the old Wild West. Despite also being a First Person Shooter, the pacing is fairly slow. The game is focused more on exploration, story, & characters than it is on pulse-pounding action sequences and gunfights. You will, however, get to participate in your fair share of shootouts throughout the game.

Not surprisingly, you'll find wandering the wide, open wasteland provides countless hours of intriguing gameplay. You are, of course, given complete freedom to complete quests and traverse the landscape in any way you see fit. Follow your own path to Fame, Fortune, and Glory... all can be yours if you put your variety of skills to good use. Utilize persuasion, trickery, or just put a .44 slug in the head of anyone who gets in your way. The choice is yours.

If you like westerns, apocalyptic settings, sandbox-style gameplay, or simply blasting mutants with nukes, you're bound to get a kick outta New Vegas!

A beautiful, yet brutal trek through the iconic underwater city of Rapture.

Great voice work mixed with creepy atmosphere and complex gameplay makes Bioshock a must-buy for any person who appreciates an intense singleplayer experience.

A zombie lover's dream come true. Fans of the undead are bound to be pleased with Valve's gory take on the genre.

Featuring an emphasis on teamwork, the co-op game play is at its very best when voice chatting with your friends as you plow thru the hordes of mutated 'infected' with a variety of salvaged weapons. The constant struggle to survive stays fresh thanks to dynamic spawns of enemies and items. Yet the game doesn't take itself to seriously and keeps the mood fairly light with plently of quips from the cheeky Survivor characters.

If you're a zombie maniac or just enjoy having a good shoot-out with your pals, ya can't go wrong with L4D.

A delightful little 'tower defense' style game with a cute nature/undead theme.

Use a wide variety of sentient plants to establish a, shall we say, "guard-en" to defend your home from waves of brain-hungry zombies.

Boasting surprisingly deep gameplay and a great sense of humor, PvZ is surely worth your green.
