A great Co-Op PVE game to play with your friends!

This game is like Souls meets Destiny. It's a ton of fun, especially when doing co-op with friends! There is also a lot of replay value due to the roll and RNG systems that determine the loot and bosses of a world. You could play through the game several times and still not encounter every boss, tile, or piece of loot. The build crafting and difficulty settings are also well executed, and are very fun to master, furthering the replay value.

The only downside is that the game doesn't run amazing on older hardware, especially on graphics cards incapable of using DLSS (My 1070 runs the game between 30 to 60 FPS on the lowest settings, depending on the area and how much is going on). The Devs have been adding optimization updates though, so hopefully this gets better over time. Other than that, I'd highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a great Co-op looter shooter experience.

Original Review: Amazing game, there are no others like it. PVP and PVE are amazing, lore is top-notch, and it runs great. Give it a try if you haven't already!

2023 Review: The game has gone through its ups and downs over the years, and is currently in one of the worst states its ever been in. It is extremely confusing for new players to get into, extremely expensive to buy all the DLCs, and various parts of the game haven't had meaningful updates in years. The new seasonal content is repetitive and shallow, and get's boring quickly. There are a multitude of additional problems with the game that I won't get into here. Despite all of this, I still enjoyed my time with this game, and do recommend it, if one doesn't mind the price tag and the hurdle of learning the game. I've made some great friends from this game, and will look back with very fond memories of my time playing. It is unfortunate that this game probably will never realize its full potential, but it is still a fun game to play at its core. If one wants a satisfying Co-op looter shooter that also features PVP, then this is a great game, assuming the giant price tag on the DLCs isn't too daunting.

This is a great game! However, you must have Counter-Strike: Source installed in order for it to work properly. Make sure you have both if you plan on playing.
