This game is broken. I can't even remap the controls for my HOTAS without the menu automatically resetting everything to default and undoing all my changes--this happened to me 4 times in a row before I gave up. Not sure why I bothered giving EA another chance :/

I think this might be my favorite game ever. Brilliantly designed, and beautiful from start to finish. If you like to explore worlds, solve mysteries, try crazy stunts, or set your own goals without obnoxious icons or 'breadcrumb trails' leading you by the nose, then stop reading and buy this game.

I don't want to go into any more detail here, because the main/only form of progress in Outer Wilds is your own knowledge as a player, so it's best to jump in with minimal knowledge about the gameplay and story. I only wish I could somehow wipe my own memory of it, so that I could play it fresh all over again!

if you need to get rid of $20 but also want to listen to a rich teenager whine for at least 47 seconds, Gone Home may be the game for you
