I regularly snort these beautiful noodles to make myself truly feel alive

A "Mixed" review option really needs to exist. Game has a lot of good ideas but I find myself getting bored of it fairly quickly in play sessions, also the randomized gear crafting (stuff like Magic Attack + gear turning into higher grade HP + when combined) is just.. not it. Makes the game play out more like spamming gear crafting then just paying gold to reroll it into stats that are more ideal.

I like the inclusion of some Three Kingdoms era heroes and Sun Wukong, without them I don't think the game would have held my interest near as long.

The art is nice and it does seem like there is care put into the game, I just hope they'll improve on the gear crafting aspect cause it really takes away from the potential of personal decision making and instead has you blasting through mindlessly spamming forge / combine.

Wandered around for about 2 hours wondering why I couldn't get anywhere in the game, turned out the game requires an external patch to even properly play it. Some reason I decided to stick it out though and see it through despite that initial confusion, and needless to say.. I have a lot of thoughts.

I love the setting, the darker take on classic fairytale characters, the soundtrack is great, and I thought it was stupidly fun (albeit mindless) to blast through every enemy in the game once I combined certain gear. The combat is quite enjoyable, just don't expect anything life changing. The monster designs, variety in areas you visit, all keep the game feeling fresh and exciting even on subsequent playthroughs for achievements.

That being said, it is a great time that personally I find a bit tainted due to its depravity. Some things fit into the setting and create an ultimately unsettling atmosphere that leaves you hesitant yet curious enough to keep indulging in it. It's a hard one to recommend for these reasons and if you're sensitive to MATURE content, you're most likely gonna want to skip this one.

if I focus on the entirety of this game, it was honestly an interesting and unique experience which I can appreciate for that aspect above all else; as far as I'm concerned, I'll leave it at that.

Very good game, although I think 7 definitely takes the cake for storytelling. Will I complain about more dynasty warriors to enjoy though? Nope! :D

I remember being interested in Dynasty Warriors as a kid but never got the chance to play it, sort of forgot about it but would remember from time to time. Decided to finally pick this one up on a whim during the last sale, and good lord I've fallen in love with this. It's a rare occasion where something actually turned out as good as it seemed to me as a child.

The storytelling, characters, gameplay, music, all feels so nostalgic and iconic in a wonderful way. I look forward to checking more of these games out now <3

Great co-op game, I love the attention to detail with features and the text chat is hilarious to use. Some monster balancing is questionable but not too unmanageable with practice and learning.

Top tier extraction shooter, easy recommend

A lot of really cool ideas in the game, the collection of well known characters from all around put into one setting was the main draw for me. For the most part, they have interesting mechanics and playstyles. The voice acting, soundtrack, artwork are all great. I just find the game to be a bit dull to play. All from the perspective of a solo player, but eh. Recommend for the amount of love that's clearly been put into the game.

Worth a try, it might jive better with other action roguelike enjoyers.
Wukong is my easily my favorite, really sick to see him in the game
