FOR SUPER EARTH! (And Unforgettable Co-op Chaos)
10/10 - Would gladly die for Managed Democracy again (and again, and again).

Look, if you're searching for a game that perfectly blends intense, chaotic co-op action with laugh-out-loud moments and a surprisingly deep layer of strategy, stop scrolling and buy Helldivers 2. Right now.

This isn't just another shooter; it's a spectacle. One minute you're perfectly coordinating with your squad, calling down orbital strikes and mowing down hordes of grotesque bugs or terrifying automatons. The next, someone accidentally calls an Eagle strike on the extraction point, a teammate gets launched into orbit by a Charger, and everyone's screaming (mostly laughing) over comms. And honestly? That chaos is where the magic happens.

What Makes It Stellar:

Visceral Combat: The gunplay feels weighty and impactful. Every explosion rocks your screen, every bullet feels like it matters. Unloading a mag into a Bile Titan or desperately holding the line against bots feels incredible.

Stratagems are King: Forget simple grenades. We're talking orbital lasers, deployable Gatling turrets, airstrikes, support weapons, and more. Calling these down under pressure, coordinating with your team, and sometimes hilariously messing it up, is the core loop and it never gets old.

True Co-op: This game demands teamwork. Friendly fire is always on (and often hilarious), objectives require coordination, and reviving your buddies under heavy fire is paramount. Playing with friends is peak Helldivers, but even joining randoms often leads to epic moments of camaraderie.

Galactic War: The overarching meta-narrative of fighting for planets, liberating sectors, and contributing to the war effort adds a fantastic sense of scale and community purpose. Your missions matter (or at least, they feel like they do!).

Satire & Tone: The over-the-top, jingoistic "Managed Democracy" theme is brilliantly executed. It's hilarious, providing a perfect backdrop to the otherwise grim reality of fighting giant bugs and killer robots.

Any Downsides?

Okay, launch had some server hiccups, but those seem largely ironed out. The real danger? Accidentally nuking your friends. But let's be honest, that's part of the fun.

Verdict:

Helldivers 2 is an absolute triumph. It's the most fun I've had in a co-op game in years. It's challenging, rewarding, endlessly replayable, and generates unforgettable moments every single session. If you have even a passing interest in co-op shooters, sci-fi action, or just causing glorious, patriotic mayhem with friends, enlist immediately.

For Super Earth!

Black Myth: Wukong is a game that swings between brilliance and boredom, a monkey's tale that sometimes feels like a gamer's gaffe. It's a visual spectacle, a combat delight, and a storytelling journey that, while captivating, can feel a bit like a long-winded lecture.

The game's boss fights are the undisputed kings of the jungle. Each encounter is a symphony of sword strikes, magical blasts, and acrobatic feats. It's a dance of death that will leave you breathless, or at least, controller-less. However, the journey between these epic clashes can sometimes feel like a tedious trek.

The game's pacing is a bit of a monkey wrench in the works. It swings from exhilarating highs to mind-numbing lows. While the visuals are stunning, the world can feel a bit empty and lifeless at times. It's like a beautiful painting with a few too many blank canvases.

The difficulty curve is another monkey business. It can be a rollercoaster ride, soaring to challenging heights and then plummeting to easy street. It's as if the game can't decide whether it wants to be a casual stroll through the park or a hardcore gauntlet.

Despite these flaws, Black Myth: Wukong is still a game worth experiencing. It's a testament to the power of imagination and the beauty of Chinese mythology. Just be prepared for a ride that's as unpredictable as a monkey on a sugar rush.

I never was into D&D or CRPGs. Could be because of the turn based combat, the whole "throw the dice" system that's omnipresent from start to finish, or because I thought that specing and finding the right build for your character was a massive headache. None of that mattered in the end. These prejudices, these "cons" I had quickly turned into qualities I now seek when choosing my next game to play. I grasped the basics of BG3 during my very first fight and never felt the need to use a single guide (be it for my gear or the gameplay in general.)

This game retaught me how to have my own adventure and what a true RPG is suppose to feel like. 10/10

30 Hours in and I'm still exploring and discovering the first section of the map and dying, lots and lots of dying. It made at a massive scale with plenty of break my controller bosses but my o my its beautiful and plays like a dream. 11/10 must buy.
.
The game rewards exploration by giving some really cool loot, this makes the game 'relatively easy', I use that term very loosely.
.
Great game!

One of the best level design I've come across in a long time. Played it first on Playstation but wanted to try it out on the PC. Specially after the Apex new legend. Great game, wish it was longer. 10/10 would recommend.

This was a fun game to play with friends but when there's no one else to play with, the difficulty shoots up.

4 players = 7.5/10
3 players = 7/10
2 players = 6.5/10
1 player = 3/10

I have read alot of reviews from people saying that this game is just Lego Marvel with a different skin. Don't believe them. This game is totally different than Lego Marvel. Both Lego Marvel and Lego Batman 3 let you choose from a wide range of characters and both have excellent voice acting... however, that's where the similarities end. Lego Batman 3 is not open world but the level designs and character combat is so much better than what I've experienced in Lego Marvel. You can definitely tell that the devs have put more effort into everything since the game isn't open world but still, has the same replayability of Lego Marvel. This is a great game to compliment Lego Marvel or Lego Batman 2.

The game looked great and I really liked the Idea and wanted to play it.

However, when I tried to play it for the first time it crashed after playing the tutorial and taking a quest from one of the classrooms (bummer). The game looked and felt good to play. After the first crash I launched the game again and saw in the load level window that I already had a quest so I chose to load the game through that. After sometime I got loaded into the game (In the School) I walked towards the bus and a map thingy opened up from there I could choose what all levels I could go to. Here the game crashed again. I read through the discussions thread and the previous reviews that the game is crashing and the developers are looking into it and working on a patch but I couldn’t find it anywhere how to make the game work, so finally I decided to try and do it myself, I will also be writing down a list of tips and things that you can do to play the game and progress in it. I have finished 2 quests so far and there are some really funny scenarios that happened and made me write this review.

First of all NOT a bad game just needs patching REALLY quickly.

Pros:
• Cute and beautiful art style.
• The Idea is very interesting.
• Some really funny targets and Intro videos.
• The game has some fun mini-games.
• The world seems fun because of the funny dialogues the people say.
• Really dig the logo.

Cons:
• The game crashes a lot (will update after the patch).
• Not very well optimised.
• Well this one is a bit from my own perspective, for the hints and the items I had to think really hard on how and where to use them. (I am not a very smart person :P)

Tips:
• If the game crashes try launching it again and play through the load level screen
• It the game crashes after taking a quest then the next time you play, go to the bus outside the school and play the level with the picture of the target.
• If the screen goes black after loading try and move the mouse, it sometimes does that.
• The developers are working on a patch (read discussions thread) hoping to fix the crashes.

Overall I will give this game a 3/5 (will update depending on the patch)
